Pros and Cons of Fort Hood

If you’re moving to Fort Hood soon and stumbled on this video, I hope you enjoy, and it helps you in some way! Overall, there is so much to do outdoors, tons of food spots old and new, lots of water activities, community, good shopping, etc! Ultimately YOU make your time wherever you land great, or not. It’s more of a you thing than a location thing. This is the biggest base so there is a lot around and a ton of opportunity. A few things I absolutely suggest, is moving with an open mind and start making lists of all the fun things you can do down here! Search on Pinterest! Also bumble bff is a GREAT outlet to meet new people around you! You can quickly make a profile, write a little bit about yourself, add some photos, and then start looking through thousands of other women/men (whatever you’re looking for) looking to make connections nearby! So yeahhhh😁 I’m going to drop a list of some fun things to do below, I hope this can help get you started! I was a dependent at FT. Hood 75 - 80 and loved it. I was also stationed there, active duty from 89 - 91. HHC 1st Tiger Brigade 2AD. I agree with everything you said. I was surprised you didn't mention Belton Lake, haha, that is a big one. I miss the area and plan on visiting again. Nice video.

I Loved TX , Hated Hood ... too much weird shit went on when I was there. Def go out of the area to enjoy yourself. The lakes were really nice around the area.

Not true, every city had bad spot. There are good areas and bad.
