If you haven't heard Las Vegas is having amasse exodus cost of homes have sky rocketed and energy cost also, which is rampant across this country they are making "BILLIONS " while people are getting sick and dying from exposure. Bakersfield still has affordable housing and it's close to beaches, LA, Mountains, and the Kern River Valley & our beautiful 36 mi walk/bike path. High Spd Rail in 2025, new Casino/Hotel in 2025 30 mins south of town, many parks to chose from and lots of wildlife. Climate: Awesome 9-10 months a year! ❤😅

I have been here for 10 years as a medical professional. High crime, poorly educated people, poor job opportunities unless it's in law, medical, or field labor. Crime has gotten worse. There is no place to go, poor air quality. Undesirables from all other county areas have come to live here. The hub for human trafficking and drug running.
