Grew up in South Miami and liquordale , left there in 1980 worked with Sunrise FD , Moved to Sebastian as this S-Hole state is over crowded , been in Fl for 71 years , and now will be moving to Hayesville or Murphy . Bury my old ashes when I die in the Smokys .

You can sell a trailer home in California and buy a 3500 sq foot house on a half acre for the same price in Clayton.

I lived in Clayton when they had a population of only 5,000 people and we were so excited to get a Walmart!

😮 you’ve seen a lot of growth & development! 😅The town I grew up in only had 5000 people and I remember when the Main St in and out of town was still dirt ..our highlight was getting a name brand grocery store then a mall in the next town over 😂 Debbie Gibson came and performed there and we thought we hit it big time time 😂 oh sweet memories

Do you know if they have a Target 🎯 at Clayton? I definitely prefer Target to Walmart and other big box 📦 stores 🏬

Clayton itself doesn’t have a Target but bordering town Garner does..that’s where everyone in Clayton goes for the Target and other box chain stores without heading into Raleigh (it’s around 10-20ish minutes depending where in Clayton you live)
