It must be nice to be as rich as you to be living in Miami and having somebody to clean your pool while you do a KZbin video😊 of course you can talk about how it's nice to live in Miami the pros and about posting the pros and cons about living in Miami. You should post about living in Miami the pros and cons about living as being poor working a 40-hour job a week and only getting paid minimum wage. I am dyslexic I didn't choose to be born this way and I struggle working for your our job a week getting paid about $20 an hour. And I can't afford to pay rent so you tell me how great is too well. You are a donkey. Since my voice time does not type cuss words LOL.😂😂😂

The biggest con is the language barrier. It is highly recommended that you speak Spanish before moving to Miami for ordinary Americans. I know English is taught in school but that doesn't mean the city is going to be "English friendly" when students finally grow up. They don't want their city to be like Cleveland or Seattle. They want the city to be very receptive with the Spanish language from culture to everything. If you leave the public sector aside, all the good paying or respectable jobs require to speak Spanish or English and Spanish. Moreover business meetings, from mom-and-pop shop to bank office like City National Bank. So Miami is a unique American city with a very enduring language in mind.
@LivingInMiami_FL Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your input! We always appreciate differences of opinions 🙏🏼. Living here my entire life, I wouldn’t say that it’s necessary to know Spanish. Sure, there are some neighborhoods that have more Spanish speakers than others but the majority of Spanish speakers here also speak English. I have plenty of friends that only speak English and they have never had any issues with language barriers. The ordinary lower level jobs tend to have many Spanish speakers that eventually learn to speak English - respectable, good paying jobs here require that you know how to speak, read and write in English. If you happen to know a second language, it’s just a bonus. Miami is a beautifully diverse place with many different cultures and people - they may speak a second language but most of them know English. We have thousands of families moving here from New York, Texas and California who only speak English and they are loving the lifestyle. With that said, everyone has different experiences and it’s possible to have an issue with the language here but overall, in my opinion, it’s not necessary to know Spanish but it wouldn’t hurt to learn a few words 😅

No state tax, but property tax is higher than most of the nation. And home owners insurance premiums are higher because of hurricanes and Florida’s has any flood zones, so the cost balances out overall.
@LivingInMiami_FL5 ай бұрын
Property taxes in Florida are actually middle of the pack. Not even in the top 15 of most expensive states. Yes, insurance rates are higher than most states but that’s common with the more popular states. Thanks for your input!

For me, the flat landscape is a pro not a con. I grew up in Charleston and lived most of my adult life in Charlotte. For the past 12 years, I've been in L.A. and have still not gotten used to its high altitude and the awful aesthetic of what they call "hills" but are clearly mountains. They make me feel surrouned and trapped. I'm a wide open spaces kinda girl. You know, a southerner! LOL! PLUS I'm afraid of hights. Thanks for this awesome detailed interview. So helplful!

Bro, you're leaving out a lot of CONS. I grew up in Miami, and I can tell you Miami has changed for the worse. Everything is overpriced, the horrible traffic, the people's nasty attitudes, the customer service everywhere sucks, the driving is terrible, the superficial women, the fake people, the rent, the high cost of real estate, and the high car insurance. There's nothing nice about the people in Miami. It's voted the rudest city in America. NYC has nicer people than Miami.
@LivingInMiami_FL Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your input! We appreciate you watching the entire video. I was born and raised here and my experience has been very different. I believe no matter where you live, you’re always going to find the good and the bad. It’s the attitude you bring forth and the ability to adapt that helps make any place, a great place to live. I can say that I’ve encountered more nice people than rude people in Miami, maybe it’s because of who I choose to associate myself with. There are superficial people in any major city, but my fiancé, closest friends and family are not. I did a search for the rudest cities in America and Miami wasn’t in the top 10 of any article I read - however, NYC was on the top of almost every article. I guess at the end of the day, it’s all subjective.

Miami is not nice place as far as people are concerned, People are not nice, Rude very rude in stores, People dont know how to make a line and wait their turns. They dont have manners, they cross your path rudely, no etiquette, all show no substance. People are more worried about how they look, what you drive, what you wear, instead of how they treat people, Traffic is insane, Offensive rude drivers. As I said, Its nice "visually" at a long glance but its all show. High crime. High cost of living, low wages, high cost of insurance, everybody is trying to grift and hustle. Strong employment market for cheap labor yes. Yea door dash delivery as a job, Yea they always talk about the people moving to FL but they never talk about the people that have left or have stayed because now they cant leave they are stuck.

Miami can be a very lonely place as making friends , and am an extremely kind and friendly person . And most people are NOT trust worthy on top of it , I learned its because most people go for 6 months or less . Witch its also one of the reasons u must pay 3 months in advance for rents etc.. BTW the food its fantastic and its a beautiful place with many scenery's... most everywhere you go . The beaches ROCK! also a great place and easy to fine sexual pleasures .
