My husband and I have been enjoying the Palm Springs area often now for 11 years using a timeshare each year we look forward to our trip we only stay for a couple weeks but it is a nice break from the Pacific Northwest. Don’t forget the street fair every Thursday night downtown a big attraction, thank you enjoyed your video

Its about 110-120 degrees F during summer. Ac bill is about 300 small home to 2000 larger homes, ac runs all day and night.

I like Palm Desert because it's always dry and sunny. From the view point of someone in the PNW area in Canada.

I love Palm Desert! It's part of an ideal triangle, all within a day's trip: San Diego (coast, ocean), Idyllwild (mountains, pines), and Palm Desert (swimming pools, outdoor activities, etc.)!!! I make my rounds frequently throughout the year. The heat in June & July is not a deal breaker. It's actually a nice difference from the other spots - just need a pool or an AC unit nearby. Thanks for the video Brandy! Very informative.

We loved Palm Desert! My wife lived there 27 years and me only 5. We came back to Camarillo to help with my parents, but I see us moving back.

I lived in Ventura for a few years. Loved it. Oxnard/Camarillo areas are also very nice. But I agree Palm Springs and surrounding areas are awesome in the fall, winter and spring.

Also i find out, if you are into nightlife and such a things, this is not town for you.. I am from Europe and i visited this magnificient place few times and i fall in love in whole region, houses are cheaper than in LA for example ( 2021 ) and is more peaceful to live, people are so nice and calm and i notice in Palm Desert everyone has relax lifestyle, no hurry no stress.. so Palm Desert is perfect for family life.. I highly reccomend everyone to visit this place. Thank you Brandy for this video

Helpful video. Thanks. It's so nice to hear you pronounce Palm properly. With the silent "L". Unlike other KZbinrs that talk about the area, some pronounce it like "Pawlm". Drives me crazy lol!

Nice video. I live in wet, windswept, cold Great Britain. Not sure I could take the heat, but 350 days of sunshine?? It’s the opposite where I’m sat 😂 good day to you ma’am 😊

What's the cost of installing solar panels? That could get rid of your electricity and gasoline bills!! I mean, nothing but sun all year round.
@BrandyValentineRealEstate2 жыл бұрын
Panels can range between $20,000 - to about $30,000 or more. That’s if you buy them outright which is best because then you don’t have a lease payment. Solar makes the most sense if the property is in areas where electricity is more expensive. For instance Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert are all on Edison whereas the rest of the valley is on Imperial Irrigation District which is already at a discounted price. Again purchasing the panels is best over leasing them. I hope that helps!

@OrieCipollaro4 жыл бұрын
Very expensive. The HOAs are killing the property values. My HOA for a 600 sqft. Condo is $389.00 I’m on the low side most places are over $500 and I’ve seen them as high as $1,000. With interest rates around 4% your better off buying a private home. I’m in Palm Springs proper Palm Desert is cheaper
@BrandyValentineRealEstate4 жыл бұрын
I like your insight on this. HOA's definitely have a lot of pros and cons.
@TheOCMarc4 жыл бұрын
@@BrandyValentineRealEstate thanks for your reply, Brandy. I personally don’t have a problem with HOAs. It just depends what you get for the money (community pool, roof maintenance, etc). But some communities we’ve seen out there have (2) monthly HOA payments (eeeks🤑).

I hear you there, my friend 😅Most people get around that by creating an LLC.
@42Laj Жыл бұрын
@BrandyValentineRealEstate - But California LLC's are expensive, too. Whether you make a profit or not, you still have to pay $800.00 a year.
