Happy Redondo resident here. Redondo was a boring place when I was single😂, but I can't find anywhere better now with our littles. so glad that we are raising our kids here.

Yea, I went to Aviation, Dad did Redondo High, Mom went to Mira Costa,. Great Schools even then, I went to LA City Schools in senior year and it's best to avoid them like the plague. Happy to see things have not changed greatly, just saw my Grandma's place on S. Juanita on street view, and it's untouched. I wound up in Oregon as it is expensive down there, I couldn't do the taxes, it's more per year in tax, than I spent on my place up here in total. Even Adams Jr High is still there, go figure, it's been over fifty years since I skipped classes there, and my major was skipping classes. I miss the fog and June Gloom, and the smell of the ocean when the fog comes onshore in the evening. Have fun, James

Is the Library still there i thought it was the most beautiful Library i ever seen overlooking the ocean. I lived there in the 80's i don't think the wilderness park was there then but it looks great.

The homeless organizations there go and solicit the people into signing up for disability or mental illness.. they need more work programs or to get the homeless out of that area no reason to group up a bunch of people unable to physically work there. It's just crazy watching them return to the homeless shelter behind the mall with shopping carts full of stolen merchandise

Are u homeless?
@ovxk10146 ай бұрын
@@ibowalker9891 I was homeless there for a while and as someone who wanted to work and it worked with harbor interfaith path and Lasa All of the homeless service providers are anti-job and anti-work for the homeless ..... My main problem is that they cannot receive help at a homeless shelter or in a housing facility without becoming mentally ill or disabled on paper which prevents them from getting work which means they're just sitting there for 2 to 3 years with their caseworker telling them just to sit and wait for a free home.. that is absurd... Basically, if the homeless person is not taking therapy classes or on prescription medication, they're not going to get the funding they need in order to keep their business open to provide housing for them. So it's all hey scam, a homeless person going into a homeless shelter just provides more jobs for government workers not homeless really look into it logically

@@ibowalker9891 so my point is for any homeless person reading this. You cannot accept a shelter bed or anything like that and continue your search for work. Even if they tell you it would be good if you did look at the schedule of classes you're supposed to go to and how much time you have to dedicate to that program.... It's just a mind game and you're going to be stuck there for a long time. If you go into one I had to refuse to accept help from companies like that in order to get off of homelessness, it's like your final test
