Yea, I did the same with braidlocs, I changed to twists for the Fuller look. I just use Aloe Vera water and argan oil, l do braids out everyday. My issue is just when I start working and styles😬

Do you think another reason why your braid pattern went away so fast is also bc of your hair texture?

Yes, I do think that is the reason the braid pattern went away so quick and also because it was very short when I started.

How did you deal with shrinkage at the beginning to present during your braidloc journey? I want to braidloc, but nervous I will wear wigs until I get length. I had thought about using kinky bulk human hair for length, but don't know anyone who has started locs with human hair.
