Pros and Cons of My New DC4 Integra (1999 Acura Integra LS) First Impressions of a 20 Year Old Car!

**(Before anybody jumps down my throat I meant to say 1999 Integra LS not GS)**
Well I think I'm officially in love! It's been a long time since I've taken to a car as much as this one -- my brand new project daily - 1999 Acura Integra LS Coupe! She has a ton of miles on her but that doesn't matter.. she's got a solid frame and body!
Third owner, never messed with before, and came with maintenance records from the mechanic who did the guys work! I couldn't ask for a more fun car to drive this thing is a blast!
So today I go over the pros and the cons of this particular Integra. I'm super happy with it and looking forward to building it up as a fun (and reliable) daily!

Yeah haha I wasn't either but the astro van has to go while it still works. The F22b6 for the odyssey should be here next Monday so should have it in few days after that. The odyssey is staying though it's been a good vehicle so far but the Astro is just so difficult to service and always breaking down. Cheers brotha!

Man honestly I fell in love with this car for some reason. I've had so many "nicer" cars in my life but something about this just feels.. planted? It feels sturdy. Definitely fell in love with this car. Thanks for the comment brother! Any mods to your ride?

i just paid $3.3k for my really clean manual LS, it has leather swapped interior. i got pretty lucky! love this little car.

It does need a small turbo, maybe LS VTEC also. 😁. My soon to be daily is a 97 Civic hatch with a refreshed D16Y8 motor. I will eventually change the factory black paint to Phoenix yellow or Championship white.

Nice car for the mileage. My daily is a 2012 Civic LX coupe but my summer car is a 94 Integra GSR which i bought new and still drive. It has 88,900 kms on the meter (not sure in miles, maybe 53,000??). It has never seen snow or road salt. I barely drive it anymore, although i used to put on the road between mid April and late October. These last few year i only took it out of storage between July and September but barely drove it. This year it's going on the road in April again... as soon as snow is all gone and salt on roads have been washed off by a few rain storms.

Just slap on a Hondata, flex-fuel, B16a head, header and you'll have a little rocket. Maybe a fuel pump and ethanol injectors and components. Ethanol/flex-fuel would be cheaper than building a turbo kit.

my daily is my slammed tc at the moment, project build 99coupe with a z6/y8 mini me on a gt35 from vs racing, fully built and decon'd block hoping for 500 when she's done. going this season to buy a reliable daily..something I can't put any fucking money into. something to just fucking drive lol

Got a 1999 Integra gs for 1000+500 worth dmv fees, bent subframe so the hood can't close all the way and bumper all pushed back, maintenance light on, check engine is on, car sometimes doesn't want to start. Oh and both windows can roll down but the sunroof can

Gotta make sure I have a backup motor before I do -- this supposed to be my "reliable" daily so wife wont go for it unless I have a backup plan. Good thing B18s aren't tooooo expensive.
