very interesting video please my son just got admission to read radiography and radiological science in a private university in Nigeria with your explanation i get to understand what the course entails, but with risk of exposure to radiation by radiographers do you advice a person to go ahead with the course please are u on wattapp i would like to discuss with u.

@@thomasonazi3867Sir Radiographer are not unnecessary exposed to radiations because they are trained and there are protective measures thought during training. Radiographers are safe during practice just allow ur son to go ahead with the course . you will testify later in his life because radiography is one of the selling and best course this day

Ma'am your video is really interesting, I'm a student who is about to go into radiography though i don't really much about it, it has always been my desire to be a medical doctor or a nurse, but here in Nigeria medicine and nursing science are very competitive course and my Jamb has been the one preventing me, Now the only option i have is radiography, i chose radiography as my course of study and i meet up cutoff, which gives me assurance that i will be admitted, Ma, the thing is i don't know if radiography is the best for me.

Hi I'm a Student studying radiography in SA, in the country you are working at are you allowed to inform the patient on your findings from their radiographs? because I know that part of the practice is out of our scope here on SA ... I'd really appreciate an answer please🙏

Hie I am studying radiography in England now and we are not allowed to give out findings mainly because our code of conduct does not allow us. If we see something like a severe pneumothorax we will keep the patient in department and speak to the radiologist to review the image immediately they are the ones who are trained to do reporting. All the best with your radiography profession

@@mamibretzel I’m sorry do you mean no they aren’t harder or yes they are I know they are a higher qualification but the content itself is it more than a levels

@@merdin9104 er sis it’s pretty clear cut when i say “obviously not” which means it’s definitely a no? but honestly upon pondering about it maybe it depends on people because again a levels you be studying everything (english maths…) and maybe you hate english but u don’t even have a choice u need study it whereas for uni (not saying that there wouldn’t be any modules you’ll hate…but) at least in uni you’re studying (well at least i hope) something you’re passionate about. so it all depends on individuals but to me at least a levels isn’t as hard as uni. BUT in terms of ‘enjoying’ factor uni is definitely more enjoyable (because i’m studying what i like) than a levels :) so it’s harder but enjoyable if that makes sense 😳
