Which dorm would you recommend for a freshman female engineering major?

Hi! I was a freshman engineering girl and I would definitely recommend living at Knapp on the 3rd floor, which is the Women in Engineering living community! Your roommate and everyone that lives on the floor will be engineering majors as well, which is great for making friends in your study area, there's a bunch of activities focused on helping you academically or to relax after stressful exams, and the lobby has tutors some nights on the foundational engineering courses you'll be taking your freshman year. The location is also really good because it's a short walk to most of your classes. Best, Izzy

Hi! When you sign up for housing, I'd definitely check to see if you can live in the Pre-Health learning community. You'll live with other students who are on a similar track as you which makes it easier to find study groups pretty quickly! This semester, Pre-Health is living in Murdough, but it can change. @@ttuengagement thank you so much for the reply. She has created her ttu log in & unfortunately it said no housing was avail (we were hoping it was just because her acct is new?) Regardless we did see that Murdough has the Pre-Health LC. I will keep an eye out for any possible changes though! Do Freshman ever live in Talkington?

You are able to live on campus as long as you like! There are some dorms that are just for freshman, but there are also upper-classmen dorms and other on-campus living options!
