Found your video doing a search for this hotel, we're planning on staying there in a couple weeks.. Live in Sarasota so it's a short drive. Love your video style and I'm also a Midwesterner moved down from Iowa 10 years ago. Saw your shirt so had to leave a note :) Go Hawks!

Appreciate the review. Would you consider this hotel worth the expense for just an overnight stay?

It depends on what you consider “worth the expense.” Yes, to us it is worth the expense because it’s a great location for us. Our friends and family that live there locally can pick us up in their boat easily, there’s great options for two restaurants on site, and we enjoy the live music. The one downfall would be it’s not “on the beach“ if you want to be close to Ann Marie Island Beach. it’s about a mile. Hope that helps!

Thank you this was very helpful information as I consider staying there. Did you notice if there are bicycles available & is it an area safe to bike?

I’m glad it was helpful! There were not bikes at the actual hotel, but there were bikes to rent on Anna Marie Island. Make sure to ask if you’re allowed to take it “off the island“ over the bridge, which is where Margaritaville is located. Yes, it’s very safe to ride bikes. There were people riding bikes all down the strip. And to and from the hotel.
