Where have you been shopping? Fresh strawberries, in Mellieha, where I live, are between 2 and 2.5 euro. Go to a small market. A lot of them are owned by farm families. Like having diamonds and rubies, except they are edible. 40C may seem hot to someone who grew up in Britain, but it is normal for people like me. All a matter of what you're accustomed to. Strawberries are not grown locally and most of it is imported but have never been priced €8 as you say. Why don't you mention local fruits such as melon and watermelon, a whole box of melon/watermelon weighing around 20kilos might cost €10 What makes you think you know anything about Malta just because you got a job here better than in the UK? Why did you speak Dorado fish when it's in season during it cost around €3 to €5 per kilo. Why didn't you compare those prices with the UK? You show garbage bins overflow. Anywhere on the Maltese islands, the street is all clean and every day people leave their garbage bags whether black or white bags by their door steps which are collected daily ~ and we pay nothing not like in the UK you need to pay for such services. Please don't post videos like these if you are not accurate as it's not correct. I will be making a report about your video to Malta Tourism and will check it and make the necessary report.
@tessamay37532 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeanette 😊 Thanks so much for interacting with my video! I'd like to address your questions, as it seems you did not watch my entire video before writing your criticisms. The whole point of this video is PROs and CONs of living in Malta, therefore if I were not to mention any cons then what would be the point in the video 🤷🏼♀️ No country is perfect, but considering I chosen to live here and have done for some time, you might presume that I actually quite enjoy it here 🥰 Which I do! Strawberries, just because you have not found any priced at €8 euros does not mean that I am lying? Would you question someone's experiences just because you had not experienced something similar? Because I certainly would not. Good point about the melons, I regularly buy local watermelon, its delicious! Not sure what you mean about the fish comment? Where I am living, the garbage situation is not the case. You can even visit Comino and see the absolutely disgusting state of the beach, rocks and sea after a busy day of tourists. I guess you must live in a much cleaner part of Malta than I, good for you! And so to summarise my reply to you, MY video is about MY experiences of living in Malta. Its a pros and cons video to help educate people who may be curious about this wonderful country. You are allowed to disagree with me, but please, do you really have nothing better to do than to report my video which is, as stated many times, MY OWN OPINIONS AND NOT FACT. I ask you to please not disregard MY experiences just because you think that your words, opinions and experiences are the only ones we should all be valuing. Perhaps you should make your own video based on YOUR own experiences as I did. Hopefully no one devalues your experiences because, God forbid, they don't agree with you 😇 Thank you for stopping by and thanks for adding another view to my video! 😘
