You should try using the "movie" mode for animation. While it´s basically the same, the promise of revisiting your own work two more times and thus having more frames in total might give some very interesting outcomes. On the other hand it also increases round times because everyone can draw for as long as they want and there´s more turns in total, so maybe it´s more of a thing for a group that has a lot of time ;)

You should do this again, but the morph takes half the time and the other half goes to trying to restore the animal to the person you think it originally was. So you'd end up with stuff like Ross turning into a crab turning into Giwi.

As someone who's read the books, I can answer the question 2:41. When the narrators would describe transforming, they would mention that their bones contort, snap, shift around, etc., it was described as being uncomfortable, but not painful (I'm surprised that I even remember that though, since I read the books in 4th and 5th grade)

I've been messing around with Gartic Phone settings, and I've found that you can recreate the animation mode using custom settings, and the paint bucket tool will be enabled! I also found (optionally) that you could make the timer dynamic, meaning that the timer only counts down when half the game is finished, meaning people can be as quick or as slow as they want.

Namilius in the chat was right! I read a few of the books, and there was one guy who stayed in his hawk form for too long (I won’t spoil why), that he ended up staying a hawk. He still managed to communicate with the other animorphs, though. I always thought it would be cool to be a lioness animorph. I even wrote a short story about that a long time ago, managing to not copyright infringe.

I think it would be really interesting, after hearing how some of the changes were unexpected or different than wanted, if y'all did this challenge in movie mode, so you could decide what you wanted to be, giving a title like, as an example, 'Ross->snail' so that everyone would be on the same page, and you could even get a chance to draw one for your own and see how progress is coming along! This was super fun to watch and Im glad you're all having so much fun! :D

Heck yes I saw this and rushed. Flipping through the animorphs books was always my favourite part (especially the first book and the Megamorphs Chronicles) they are so cleverly done and adds this sort of extra accomplishment to finishing the book every time
