Come join us on this special report on the Pros and Cons of a cross-country AMTRAK Vacation. Nikki and Daniel are going to sit with us and explain about the positive (pros) and negative (cons) of their experience with AMTRAK.
Don't forget to see Part 2: CONS (worst) of AMTRAK Vacations | Pros & Cons of a AMTRAK Vacation
Video link
• CONS (worst) of AMTRAK...
AMTRAK advertises that their Vacations combines the thrill of riding the rails with inclusive vacation packages for one-of-a-kind travel experiences throughout North America. Travel to amazing cities, scenic landscapes and spectacular national parks with the option to depart from the more than 500 Amtrak rail stations across the country. With hundreds of unique rail travel packages to choose from, there's something for everyone.
What AMTRAK does not advertise that they may leave you STRANDED in the middle of the trip with no help to find options to get home half way across the nation. Justify by a rail shut down. Yes that happened to Nikki and Daniel, stranded 1100 miles from home. Part 2 will cover that stories and the CONS of traveling with AMTRAK, stay tuned.
Even though Nikki and Daniel were STRANDED on the road side with his family, they did find some PROS about the train. Part one will go over 5 main pros (points) of travailing on AMTRAK.
Come Join them.

We had some great times on the Train Trip. Thanks for sharing some of those memories with us. Make sure you stop by and see the cons so you know the things to avoid if you go on your own cross country train trip!

I'll be heading east on Amtrak soon from Denver to Atlanta. I appreciate the info in your video. I've never been on an Amtrak train so I'm really looking forward to it. However, I don't think $8.00 for a hamburger is reasonable.

We were expecting much higher prices than we saw - like airplane food prices. This was cheaper than that. However, we brought our own food on the train, so that is definitely the most economical choice.
