I grew up elsewhere but I'm proudly Zambian. I feel there's a lot of potential in my country but I feel like going out again and then investing back home. It's such a drag for me in terms of service delivery and the like and as a person in the hospitality industry which Zambia can really benefit from I hope to change that. Otherwise everything you said...straight up facts.

Agree poor customer service is a big one. And you're right the people there don't know any better. I found the teal operators in malls extremely extremely slow , it seemed the only speed they have is slow. They are so chilled out. You can't buy anything quickly. People also don't respect queues. It's shocking coming from England. People "saunter " over there no matter what time of day it is. I will talk about the traffic another day. It puts you off crossing the city completely. Sadly one minister recently used that as an example of development .... Grid locked traffic that is ... How bizarre.

Lol..the part about Lusaka being a 'small place' 😅. For the average Zambian 🇿🇲 (me)..it's THE city. You've practically made it when you live in Lusaka. But real talk, what you said about the slow pace is on point. It's only when you experience life in a different city that you actually put things into perspective. The realisation is so profound, you wonder why you never noticed it all along. Great Video, I enjoyed watching it 👍🏽. Так держать🥳!!

😂This is so truuuuueeeeee! About the ads, now mixed race people are dominating especially telecom ads. Lusaka being tiny - I thought it was very huge till I went to Cairo then Jo'burg. Bad customer service - the thing is Zambians have a "I'll never go back there" mentality that's why poor service delivery is still a thing.

Lol. Interesting to hear you say that Lusaka is a small place. But then, coming from London of course its small. Just watched a video of a Namibian living in Lusaka. Where the pop of Lusaka is almost equal to the population of the whole of Namibia. So she thinks Lusaka is crowded 😁 So I guess spacial orientation and 'demographic experience' is kinda relative depwnding on your norm.
