I completely agree! Scandinavian and Nordic countries offer a high quality of life, beautiful landscapes, and strong community values, making them great places to raise a family. Their focus on work-life balance and excellent social services really enhances the overall living experience.

Norway is really far north. That means it's extremely cold there for most of the year. Even summer temperatures aren't that high, and months of winter wind and rain, especially in coastal cities, can be hard to handle
@AnamAwan-waynoАй бұрын
You’re right! Norway’s northern location does mean that it experiences long, cold winters, and coastal cities can be particularly rainy and windy. However, many people appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons and the unique charm of winter in Norway. Summers can be surprisingly pleasant, with mild temperatures and beautiful natural scenery. It definitely requires some adjustment, but the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture make it worthwhile!

I intend to or should I say hope to study for Master's in Norway one day. So as an immigrant student what scholarships/part time jobs should i apply to and how do i plan my finances? Also, I heard that qualifications need to be checked through NOTUK to see if it matches Norwegian standards of education. What's the process for that? could you please make a separate video on these topics
@AnamAwan-wayno7 күн бұрын
That’s an amazing goal, and Norway is a great place for higher education! 😊 As an immigrant student, you can explore scholarships like the Quota Scheme (if available in your country) or university-specific scholarships. For part-time jobs, students in Norway can work up to 20 hours per week during semesters and full-time during holidays jobs in retail, hospitality, or even as research assistants are common options. Regarding finances, plan for living costs (housing, food, and transport) as Norway can be expensive. Saving in advance and budgeting carefully will help. For qualifications, HKDIR! They assess foreign degrees to ensure they meet Norwegian standards. The process typically involves submitting your educational documents online, and their website provides clear guidelines. Thank you for the video suggestion! I’ll definitely consider making one to explain this in detail. Wishing you the best for your future plans! 😊

Wa Alaikum Assalam! In Norway, you can experience the "Midnight Sun" and "Polar Night" depending on where you are. Midnight Sun (24-hour daylight): In places like Tromsø, North Cape (Nordkapp), and Svalbard, the sun doesn’t set for about 2 months during summer, from late May to late July. Polar Night (24-hour darkness): In the same regions, during the winter months (from late November to mid-January), the sun doesn’t rise, and you experience complete darkness for several weeks. These phenomena are more pronounced the further north you go. Hope that helps! 😊

I am a 18 year old high school student who wanna go to norway for studying for my bachelors. What are your opinions about it? Should I be worried about the living expenses and reconsider my decision? I really love the country and m looking forward to living qnd working there in norway itself ❤
@AnamAwan-waynoАй бұрын
It's awesome that you're interested in studying in Norway! It’s a beautiful country with high-quality education. However, living expenses in Norway can be quite high, especially in cities like Oslo or Bergen. Non-EU students have to pay fees, and you'll need to budget for housing, food, and other essentials. If you're set on studying there, it's a good idea to explore scholarships and part-time job opportunities for international students. Also, make sure to plan your finances carefully. If you love the country and are passionate about living and working there, the experience will be worth it! Thanks for watching and commenting ❤

@AnamAwan-waynoАй бұрын
I don't think so. No university offers completely free tuition. Norway has imposed tuition fees for non-EU students starting last year. However, you can keep an eye on different university websites to see if they offer any scholarships for non-EU students. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

@AnamAwan-waynoАй бұрын
It’s definitely concerning to hear about incidents like that. Safety is always an important factor when considering moving to or living in a new place. While crime can happen anywhere, it’s also important to stay informed and understand the overall situation, not just isolated incidents. Norway, including Oslo, generally has a good reputation for being safe, but like any major city, it's always smart to be cautious and aware of your surroundings. Keeping up with local news and staying informed, like you're doing, is a good idea.
