What do you expect? The disease does not get better. It progresses and gets worse. Not anything you can do about it. None of the neurological diseases get better. They do not know what causes them, nor is there a cure for any of them. Although, there has been cases of several people with MS being electrocuted and cured of MS. Almost all the treatments for these diseases involve being shocked. They will usually implant some device in the person's body that sends and electric shock to the person's brain. Sometimes you find cures by accident. Sorta like when the mom had a son in a coma, and for some reason she put Advil in his IV, and realized it would wake him up fro his coma. @@luistwo23s not a chance. Let's first just start with his steroids use. He sparred GGG years ago in big Bear he was so demoralized he said he couldn't hurt him and had to work on his power. I'd bet that were he started his steroids use. Just look at his body, let's not forget the lame excuse he eat tainted meat. Everyone in Mexico knows we're these places are And Canelo and his team would at well. The steroids use helped his train harder recover faster and increase power and stamina. His physical change is pretty apparent as well. I'll say because I was a Canelo fan and loved his skill movement and combinations that he didn't need to cheat. Because of this I can't get behind because his a coward. I think later in life he'll regret taking them as well because like lance Armstrong it will taint his legacy. Canelo also ducked GGG even dropped a belt to avoid fighting him. He waited at least a year and a half until GGG physical skills and age slightly diminished his threat. He was older a bit slower. Then Canelo juiced up, got caught yet got a slap on the wrist. Hell his 4 month suspension didn't interfere with his fight schedule. As for the 2nd fight Canelo came out strong and took 3 out of the first 5 rounds but like the first fight GGG started imposing his will and won the fight mostly off his jab. 7-5 GGG. 1st fight was more dominate 8-4 and that being being generous to Canelo. There's a history with Canelo winning fights he actually lost. Lara dominated Canelo the whole fight and frustrated Canelo giving him a boxing lesson. Lara beat his worse than Floyd and GGG. Then Bivol hardened and Canelo not only lost but got beat up in the process. So much so for the first time in his career he was exhausted by the 12th and could barely keep his arms up.

Canelo has deceptive speed. He throws some at one speed and then something happens at another gear. He ha crushing power in both hands. Canelo has feints like I’ve not seen and you think his punch is going to the body and it ends up a hook to the head. His defense is from the waist which leaves him in a position to counter. In several fights I’ve had Canelo losing the first four rounds - he’s patient and then he moves in and takes over. Bivol is quick, accurate and has skills. My observation is he pulls straight out and tries to catch you coming in. In fights I’ve seen, he does almost no body work. The question to be answered is his punching power. He will have to make Canelo respect his power otherwise it’s a long night. The other question about Bivol is how he takes Canelo’s power, especially to the body. Canelo is a classic Mexican body puncher and gets incredible leverage on his punches. It’s boxing and anything can happen but my money is on Canelo.

Based on the fights I’ve seen with Benavidez, I don’t think he’s shown enough to be a tougher fight for Canelo than Bivol. But it could be that he just hasn’t been challenged enough to show what he’s really capable of yet. It seems like everyone he’s trained with and sparred with thinks he has a good chance against Canelo. He might, but I’ll need to see more from him before I come to that conclusion myself. It’s always possible that he could be the kind of fighter who doesn’t perform well on fight night. Billy Dib, Jean Pascal, and Ishe Smith were all highly touted by their training partners, but they never really looked special on fight night. It’s possible that Benavidez would be the same.

What I like about Bivol is that he uses footwork. That is one of the blueprints to beat Canelo. However, we don't know how he will utilize his footwork bc he also needs a whole lot of other stuff like defense and great reflexes. Not sure we will see Bivol perform like that. To beat Canelo you need speed, footwork, conditioning, and reflexes on point bc if you get clipped by Canelo, it's over and he will put you to sleep. Also, if Bivol can counter punch well, he has a great shot.

Not sure why Bivol is totally overlooked. I believe Bivol is better than Plant, Saunders, Smith or Kovalev. Canelo had many many tough rounds against these fighters. In fact, It was 50-50 with Saunders and Kovelev until the knockouts. Bivol is in his prime, he's fast, got very good jab, is big and long, and if he's a good notch better than Canelo's previous opponents, he does have a chance. If Bivol can do what Kovelev did and doesn't run out of gas, he will have the chance. We don't actually know much about Bivol's chin. If it holds, and he can establish his jab, I give Bivol a shot.

Canelo looks off a punch better than any one, a lost art. also: check the neck size on Canelo compared to Bivol who doesn't look like he does an extra helping of neck exercising. Not saying it can't happen, but these are considerations. For me the big tip off will be if and how much Bivol can actually move Canelo when his 1-2 hits Canelo's high guard. If he can't physically jar Canelo back hitting his guard he could be in trouble.

The only way Bivol has a chance of winning is to knock Alvarez out. I think everyone is overlooking that the fight will take place in Las Vegas --- the only place in the world Alvarez wins any fight that goes the distance due to questionable judging. Bivol can bloody Alvarez and hit him until his eyes are closed and all he can do is stumble around and hold onto Bivol, but the judges will still give Alvarez the fight. Think back to the first GGG fight. Alvarez clearly lost, but was rewarded with a draw.
