#1 tip i learned if you're gonna replace your old showerhead with a new one off amazon. Just keep the old one

Great video mate, helped me out. I just got a new shower head but it didn't come with any instructions at all. Not too complicated really I just wasn't clear on if I needed that tape or not or if I should remove the washers. When I installed it with the tape I got leaks, watched this and based on what you said removed the tape as mine had the washer and it worked flawlessly.

I had trouble with my 10 dollar amazon biught handheld shower head but for 10 bucks(it was onsale so originally 22) and the shit directions it gave this video truly helped me now i a able to bathe the abimals so much easier and the water is filtered as not before so im inlove with it and this is ine more diy i can now say for he most part in able to do or stleast know somewhat of how this type of thing is done. Taking off the shower arm is not necessary in 99% of most scenarios changing your Shower head

Use a cloth between the new shower head and wrench, so you don't get scratch marks

Great video! I am just having an issue with installing a filter to my Aquasana hand-held version and the wall pipe keeps moving around. I will use that end of the tool like you did to tighten it up. Meanwhile, I still have water leaking from the joint...OMG...will it ever end? I haven tightened it too much and now have to find someone stronger than me to help unwind everything. I found a yellow washer in the wall pipe, which I probably had stuck in there with all the filters that I have changed throughout the years. I guess I should get a new one?

3:08 that was a typical problem even to him as a pro handyman. For regular folks who never replaced any shower head and dont have the necessary tools to widen the hole on the wall is kinda frustrating.

I learned 2 things from this video before I go buy one tomorrow. Measure the pipe hole so I don't have to drill a bigger hole since I don't have a drill. And buy the tape thingy
