@@magecalamari_damace3989 - I double-checked, you do technically want to walk heel-toe in high heels, but not at all like Franziska is here (she’s walking like you would in a pair of sneakers/flats type shoes.) If you look up “how to walk in heels” videos you can see that the way the leg moves is somewhat different because the shoe shifts how you hold your body and puts all your weight on the fronts of your feet. Even if someone’s walking heel-toe in heels it’s really subtle. For the animation it suits her character, it just looks kinda off.

I especially love that Manfred is using a cane on his right side, since there's the bullet in his shoulder (also I just realized that when Manfred does that screaming animation in trials, he grips his right shoulder. The attention to detail in both the game and this animation is gorgeous)

I absolutely love the walk cycles, they are so smooth, and though are in the same rhythm, the three walk cycles have a whole different vibe and personality! Also, I love the fact that there's different body types on the characters!

smooth? It's literally 7 frames of animation The original soviet Treasure Island animation from 1988 had like 3 times the frames

@@utes5532 The number of frames of a animation doesn't define how smooth it looks, the important thing isn't the number of frames, is the way is made and handled, but yes, obviously that animation is way more smooth, because it's made by many persons and has a budget, this is an independent animator

@@chesnutdusk The number of frames definitely affects smoothness. I really doubt you could call an animation with two frames smooth. I'm not here to call the animation bad or anything, I just don't think it's smooth, as calling it smooth is reductive to other independent animators who put in the hours that it takes to animate, say, 15 or 24 fps.

@@utes5532 animating movement in arcs and just generally applying animation principles can make something smooth… obviously a 2 fps animation isn’t smooth because that isn’t animation, it’s a slideshow. A lot of people animate in 10 fps and it looks smooth

it is cool how franzy and manfred have similar walks and miles doesnt. bc 1) miles eventually breaks away from their values. and 2) because he was never truly a mirror of perfection of the von Karmas. he still always had traits from his father left over. the symbolism of miles trying to fit in with the von karmas before turnabout samurai happened and then after slowly going back to similar values of his father is interesting. plus miles never ever wore blue in the games while prosecuting. also in the original clip this was based off of, there was only one character with an intense shoulder swing like manfreds, furthering the likeness franzy has to manfred that miles does not. i just think the symbolism in game and in this video of the separation of the von karmas and miles is so neat. i might be reading into it too much, but i love these characters.
