This monster called Naresh Bhatt, thought he was very smart, until the law got after him, and how! I stand in solidarity with Mamta and her friends who gave unwavering support and saw an end to this gruesome crime, and justice being served swiftly and efficiently. This will also be a reminder to abusive "husbands" and "boyfriends" ,to treat their wife/girlfriend right, and stay within the framework of law. If you don't like each other, go for separation and divorce, but not inhuman acts like this one!

I agree. But when you’re a media company, you have to be extremely cautious about what you report. You need to verify information for authenticity before airing it to avoid lawsuits. Creators on TikTok don’t have those restrictions ! So although TikTok and other social media platforms deliver information faster, they’re also rife with misinformation.

Mawali comment. It is not a banana republic run and elected by chapris and savage uneducated gomothra, pinam thinnis. Police cannot simply arrest without proper reason like in India and Pakistan. They cannot even enter any home without a search warrant or consent from the resident or home owner. The police cannot even stop your car without probable cause. Even if they arrest they have to check in the prisoner into county prison, which is independent. It is not India and Pakistan where they are put up in police lock ups or secret houses. Get some education before being a keyboard warrior.

Yes by all probability husband is responsible for the disappearance since is the last known contact just that all who support Mamata must must question police reports too. Remember if it was not Naresh, it will be very difficult to get justice for Mamata. Evidence evaporate very fast. Disposal at single place is very difficult to track. If disposal happened across multiple places its much more likely to find some parts.

She had a greencard already, obviously her confidence level was high. It hurt his male ego, that confidence in a woman. Quite likely he decided to ger rid if her when she started treating him like he was nothing. After getting greencard, people get confident of being an American and may possibly hurt the ones who are NOT American (power house of the world) yet. If he killed her in reality, she most likely was treating him like a scumbag & made him look poor reputationaly. Anyway I have done such things myself so I can tell how women operate. But so far am not dead yet not even married. Cant ever have a piece of flesh a called child. Never ever. If he hasnt killed her, well and good. Overall nice awareness raising story for future.

Also, innocent black people have been put in jail for over 35 years because of their skin color - at least this doesn’t happen in India or Nepal. 😡. @@omgitsher220 , in the US universities , girls are getting gang raped at frat parties; these are going unreported. Here in Wisconsin, many university frats got banned about 8 years back. They were adding sedatives to drinks. Even underage girls were offered drinks so the number girl party attendees increased. This was in the news. They shed light on unreported rapes nationwide at that time. Majority of them date rape drug related. These unreported cases usually leads to depression. My friend’s ex-girlfriend’s sister went into depression therapy and then committed suicide after a year because the police wouldn’t take her case when she tried to report after a week of the incident. She thought she was hooking up with one guy after party at his place but he got 4 more friends and she was completely blacked out. Her friends who were also very inebriated told her couple of days later that those guys were carrying her to his room. Around 4 years back, several new frats got permission to open and they are monitored by the police. Anyways, since turned this simple comment into India/ Nepal vs. US law and order, I wanted to highlight the unreported sexual assaults that happen here and no protests, no outrage so it doesn’t draw nationwide attention. I have more things to say but I’ll end my comment here.

Being a Nepalese myself, I think they should search his house or maybe he threw it away but Every Nepalese household has a traditional nepalese knife called 'Khukuri'... either kept as a showpiece or to cut meats and also wood. The police should look for a khukuri in his house. The Gurkha soldiers are famous for their khukris.. they can chop the enemies with their khukris..
