Anytime one gets locked up for taking another persons life, they should remain locked up until the jury has heard their case and a verdict rendered.

Although, I suspect more of a dysfunctional relationship, and lack of maturity, on both sides is likely to come out. Unless attacked and acting in self defense, "unfortunate" does not cover it. I also undertand the victim's parents wanting to have what they can not, which is their son back, and the need to express anger outwards. I have done so myself while going through an equally devastating personal loss situation. Yes, it hurts. Yes, it changes the direction of life as you know it. However, the relief from retribution only lasts so long. JUST SAYING...
