KZbinrs must all go to Harvard, because this is a great lecturer, clearly intelligent, well articulated, and presented. Coming from a top Russell Group uni in the UK, this guy presents better than 90% of my lecturers - which is unsurprising because it's Yale.

Marvelous. The way he has presented the topic is amazing, before this I could not understand the theory very well but this 15 mint clip is very comprehensive, help me to understand the topic. Thanks :)

I understood the non-linearity of probability weighting function in human behaviour and probability itself better by this theory than statistics based degree lectures and lesson for three years at university.

He sure knows what he's talking about but seems a little squishy presenting it to his students. Maybe it was a spontaneous act of explaining prospect theory or he was just not prepared at all on how to present it properly. Either way I personally would've expected more by a Yale professor.

very bad presentation of prospect theory! he didn't even make a single example of the famous amazing chart, what is it's relation to risk aversion, loss aversion and reference dependency... why?
@hamidomar3504 жыл бұрын
he literally says in the start that he won't cover everything and you have to cover stuff yourself. you dk the context/setting of this video and for the most part, it seems like he's teaching a class, wherein he can later cover certain topics or have someone else go over them as per need of students. This video doesn't deliver on promises it hasn't made, perhaps moderating expectations in such a case would be wise.

@@Nickins Lmao that's just not how thinking or attention works. He's not thinking up novel theories in the back of his mind while presenting the lecture. There's plenty of time to do that outside class anyway.

@@rutvin8763 that's not what I meant. I meant that he cannot quite focus on the lecture, which was obviously practiced and performed many times, simply because he is thinking about something else while presenting
