CraZy amount of black sand. Had high hopes of finding gold in all that black sand on Lake Superior. Unfortunately, it didn’t “pan” out.

Just found your channel I've only found small amounts of gold in the black sands on superior I'm from Barry County in lower MI

It’s in the sands along Lake Michigan if you can find the black sand. Covert Park has lots of black sand, but there is no gold with the black sand.

It was an adventure. I had high hopes of the black sand being loaded with gold. When we got there and I didn’t see any rocks on the beach, I knew it had turned into a sight seeing trip. But......if I hadn’t gone up there, I would have always been thinking about that spot. Now I know for sure!

A bad day of prospecting is better than a great day at work any day of the week lol it’s beautiful up there enjoy yourself I have a question for you I have been finding some silver like material from wires to nice chunky flakes It acts, looks and heavy like gold but it’s silver Would you have a idea what I’m finding or how I could find out I do find it often Thx for any input

I’m back home already. I am not sure what it is. I found some of the silver wires last year in my gold cube. It was the first time I used the cube and I thought it they may have been staples from when they stapled down the mats. I probably should have saved them and I didn’t.
