Epic adventure, I am curious about what you say in the description about the late stage plutons influencing the pegmatites and pockets, could you elaborate a bit more about that please🙏

Absolutely bro, that's a great question. I made a Part 2 where I elaborate a good deal using a geologic map of the area. Cheers mate kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn3GkGCgppyfgZosi=OhxuVYBl_ihIiFFB

Thank you for getting me to look up more than half of the terminology you dropped in this and walking through the investigative process, as well as being such a homie leaving stuff behind for others to enjoy finding (me this weekend).

I enjoy your videos. They are interesting, very educational, and not something I’ve seen on rock hound basics . Thank you

Absolutely and I'm glad to hear that you found the depth to be stimulating. I hope to dive further into geologic complexities in future videos.

I really like your videos, format, content, mix of education and exploration. Keep at it, I’ll be along for the ride, you’ll find a hook to get that big pop of growth, if that’s what you’re striving for. With love!

Colorado rockhound here. Thank you for showing us your adventures. I really miss being out in the field pulling crystals out of pockets. Have you been to the calumet mine near Salida?

Ever seen a chunk of desert glass with a quartz inclusion in the center of it? I found a piece of it here in El Paso county years ago, and I never realized what it was until I heard you say "desert glass". I did some quick research and now I know what it is. Thanks!

Fantastic finds!! I've searched on the opposite face to where you were and found a few small smokies last year. Might have to go back and try again!!

Cooper, I had a similar experience on the opposite side. That is, until I reached the top of the cliffs and back until the next valley. I noticed pockets were less frequent there but when they happen, they really happen.

I have been back up in there its a neat place. I have yet to be up there at night but that would be neat experience.

Kenzie, that's awesome to hear you've been in the area. The vibe of the forest and crystals here is good. It's wonderful at night as well🌌🌌🌌🌌

Another banger of a video - I really enjoyed this one! I love how you showed the surrounding environment and what appears to be you prospecting in hard to reach areas on the side of the mountain. Also the fact you're getting out there when its still all snowy out is sick. Some of the terrain is difficult to navigate through in the valleys where deep snow collects. I actually went out there a few weeks ago to go prospecting near goose creek and felt somewhat unconfident considering there was so much snow everywhere. Can't wait to get out there again. Love the video and the knowledge shared, dude!

TYSM🙏 I notice that a lot of videos don't show surroundings. I get that it's to protect people's secret mountain stashes. However, the pocketing zones of wigwam are pretty extensive and with a major educational motive, I find it important to show how the topography and rock changes by area. That's rad you recently prospected goose creek despite the heavy snow (esp in the valleys). I'm working on a video that starts on goose creek trail and then explores that deep mountain valley. Coarse terrain there for sure with great potential for surprises. I wish you fruitful prospecting there mate, keep it up!! 💪⛏️🏔️⛰️
