got gavi a while back and this is exactly the kind of win i love with her. assembling a combo with hyperspecific cards to win on the spot. in the version im brewing i dont even bother with impact tremors, i just play labman and jace and draw myself down to the bottom of my deck

adrian when you use alhammers archive you draw 3 when you cycle. the 1st draw during the draw step then the cycle draw then the replacement effect kicks in for the second draw in which you draw 2 more each time you cycle. this card works well with shorikai in which you draw 4 each time. you have to becareful on other players turns bc of the 1st time draw when you cycled on his turn it was your first draw for that turn so you dont draw the 2nd card bc you dont have a draw step on their turn you need to cycle twice on their turn.

Archive only specifies the replacement doesn't happen on the first card drawn during the controller's draw steps, not the first card drawn each turn. You don't need to cycle twice on an opponent's turn for the effect.

why do players cast the signet rocks after talismans or others? if he had done it the other way around he would be able to tap his talisman for another spell like red elemantal blast. but thats not the first time i see it. can someone explain?

Just a simple misplay. He probably didn’t have anything in hand and didn’t think about it. I’ve made that mistake numerous times over the years and still catch myself doing it once in a while

Faldorn should have been at 36 when passing after playing and using City of Brass, life totals matter people Missed City of Brass life loss twice in turns 3 and 4, I am sensing a pattern here, should have been at 35 at Turn 4.
