Hey there, I have been trading for about a few months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me. I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take (I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I've been watching your videos for some time now Lewis, and I've noticed how you have always emphasized on the entry model. But Do you always use it? I ask this because at times the entry model has a wide trading range that by the time you want to make an entry after the 1M Choch and retrace price is wayy below the 15M OD and closer to the 15M swing point

I have a question related to 3 candle pullback rule. If we are bearish and then there is a pullback with 3 bullish candles out of which there is one broken and 2 proper bullish candles, each one higher than the previous one is this a valid low? Do we consider broken candles during a pullback?

Ive backtested this strategy on the 12 minute timeframe using .618 and .786 fibs as my levels and using the exact strategy you outlined and got a 25% winrate out of 30 trades ive got to be missing something right?

Please allow me to highlight some flaws in your logic, but before dismissing or taking offence, if someone helped me in this way is actually be super thankful. Firstly, I went to a restaurant, ordered food and loved it so much that I wanted to try making it for myself, I asked the chef for his recipe and to my surprise he actually gave it me. I went home that same evening and prepared to make the dish, I didn’t use all the ingredients he gave me, in-fact I even changed some, and to no surprise when I’d finished, it tasted nothing like the chefs dish. What was the issue here? *I DIDNT FOLLOW THE RECIPE* Secondly, using a sample size of 30 trades and concluding an outcome is just as useful as me going to the ocean with a jug, filling it with water and concluding there are no sharks in this water because there is no shark in my jug. Finally, congratulations because although you didn’t follow the chefs recipe, it appears your dish is kind of tasty. If you’d followed the profit rule (a minimum of 5R) which I’m assuming you did. If you run the math 30 trades (7.5 wins & 22.5 losses) 7.5 x 5 = 37.5R (minimum) 22.5 x 1 = 22.5R (maximum) Worst case net profitability = 15R I say worst case because 5R is literally the minimum you could get, the average I assume is closer to 7-9.
