Thats funny cause I work with client for deilling compnay and he called himself wealthy homeless man. For his job he traveled all over all time that he dont have house and not much things other then his clothes and cameras cause he spends most of his times in hotels and rentals. Darrell VanDusen Jr and by definition he’s homeless. There’s different types of homelessness. Homelessness doesn’t equate to how much someone travels or how much money they have. There’s some ppl who want to live on the streets in a tent. To them, that’s their permanent home and they may not see themselves as homeless.

Her story is she didn't come from a bad background. She graduated and had parents. She just made a few bad decisions early on and got caught up in the game. So not everybody had a shit show start for a life, but at any point any of us can fall down. I hope and pray she finds the courage and support she needs.

you're nice, lady, but you don't understand that world and it comes across as condescending. she's been self-medicating for decades and has access to lots of money. it's not that she wouldn't know how to get help. it's that what is on the other side of that help - bleak, meaningless, poor, sick, grey slant into old age - is what she's been medicating for in the first place. in 10 min she can get the medication which prevents her from ... for example, suicide.

This is an underrated comment. I don't think people understand that sometimes you just have to be very upfront in order to face the problems in front of us. I've seen people in this comment section talk about how he is rude during this conversation and that he isn't doing anything to help her, but it's important to remember what he says at 12:57. Not only does he need to be blunt for her sake, but it also helps him be able to help her as best he can. It's a lot harder to help somebody when you don't get the whole picture. He learns a lot about these people on AND off camera. He obviously sees the potential of this wonderful woman, and he is pushing her toward a beautiful future that she has the ability to create for herself and hopefully her children.

Similar story for my mom she saw this woman one day and was in shock and said “ I know her” and from my pov my mom she couldn’t have known that lady unless she went viral on FB she was obviously not clean and had many scars and was obviously on drugs the my mom said “ she was sooo freaky pretty/popular in high school and had a lot of friends” followed with “ I wonder what happened🥺😢” I was young than eventually I’ll understand

Oh my gosh. I came here from the previous video with her and her boyfriend, and I'm so happy to see that she is building strength. 'Lil Mama, if you ever see this, PLEASE, PLEASE know that YOU CAN DO IT! I was a heroin/meth/coke addict for 10 years, living a crazy life. I had an art job where I made a lot of money and could be fucked up for, so I never did sex work, but I know that addiction, and the party lifestyle, is the hardest part to get out of, but IT IS POSSIBLE. Its not easy, but trust me, it's very quickly becomes way, way easier than the life you're living now. You were right. It takes one moment of courage, and I can see that first spark is already lit inside of you. There are SO many resources out there to help that are FREE, where people really care about you. Please, YOU CAN DO IT. YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH. YOU ARE WORTH IT." Damn. I just want to give her a hug.

She was silently screaming for help!!!! How could you leave her like that?! Unless you are going to help the people that you’re interviewing, this is exploitation, pure and simple! I’ve seen where you have given clothing and snacks to people you’ve interviewed before. The people you interview are basically helping you out, when they are the ones in need of help! This poor woman seemed somewhat confused how you were ending the interview. I think she was expecting help in any form, and you let her down. I certainly hope she wasn’t left alone after this, because she seemed pretty high. Also, as someone had commented, you do seem rather unattached when speaking with her. I don’t think she needed a pep talk about how hard life is. It’s obvious she already realizes this, as she is living it everyday. Only you know if you feel compassion for the people that you talk to. I hope you do. It would so much better for the people you’re speaking with if you could find resources to help them. Drive them to shelters, food pantries, free services for chemical dependency and therapy. Adding how people have improved their lives could be a wonderful part of these videos. It would be inspiring for people to see.

I think a big part of that comes from the fact that she’s so strung out. I don’t think she’s been clear headed in a while to be honest. When you’re in that state it’s hard to string a sentence together let alone talk about you’re most personal issues on camera. Hopefully she’s able to get help and will be able to work that out with a therapist

That is beautiful and so true. Although the drugs have got her, they haven't completely extinguished her light. If you read this lil mama The power to emerge from the grips of drugs is within YOU. but you need to want to stay alive and seek help from other addicts that have recovered and are free of it. Only ask people for help who want absolutely nothing from you - recovered addicts that stay clean by carrying the message of how they got clean to you. There is another way. If they can get clean - you damn sure can!

He's listening, giving advice, but he's not in charge of fixing these individuals or taking responsibility for them. So she may not see his help enough for what it is. But she's starting to see other avenues. Nothing changes overnight instantly. That wouldn't magically fix her. If she wants to be saved, it isn't going to happen. If people cant see what you're trying to do through these videos by interviewing, encouraging, asking what they need to succeed, asking deep questions that provokes their own thoughts that makes them really think "wait what caused this, how did i get here?, they never will; the rest of us do and appreciate you for it.

@@somebadname6841 nothing wrong with paying them. They get money in other ways regardless. Being paid to tell their story that allows us to understand a little bit more how this has happened is fair. Also for many this is the first time any one has asked them these questions. First time they have been able to see themselves like this, when they play the videos back. Good luck to all of these people, addictions are stronger than we think.

All of my siblings do that , never have the ever done any drugs , it started when we were young , my father was an abusive drunk , everyone of us had to deal with childhood trauma. My sister still rocks like this . And has never done a drug in her life ! I rock in a rocking chair when I’m in pain . Rocking is comfort. Please stop judging ppl !!!!!!!!

Around the Table Discussion I hate thats she’s on drugs too . It’s ❤️ shattering, I have a brother on drugs and homeless that’s why I follow soft white underbelly. I’m trying to understand why this is a huge problem in the us of a . Skid row is every where every state . Its real . I love my brother so much . But I know I’m going to get that phone call that no one wants to get . I pray everyday for this 🌍 I value Mark as a humble beautiful human that wants to help anyone he can hero is the word I’m looking for . Jesus is the life truth and the way . If every human on the planet would choose LOVE . This 🌍 wouldn’t be in the condition it’s in . It’s not just about lil mama it’s about every person and what the choose . Out of all the interviews I have watched this one hits #2 on my ranking list. I know these people don't have to be where they are but life can take you places you never dreamed of good and bad and seeing her especially as a mother myself literally makes me fall to my knees and thank God for keeping me and my kids and my parents because this could've been my mom this could be me. God I just thank you and send your angels to cover her and others in these interviews because it is heartbreaking to see this. But it will definitely give you a reality check quick!

I thought she was so out of it or was too abused to answer the questions , and then I realized that the boyfriend/pimp most likely sent her back to get more $$ for him through another video w Mark . If you think about it, she didn’t answer anything more (probably as he told her to as an abusive boyfriend) , she didn’t really care , and at the end she smirked like “did I get away with it?” She even said “so..., “ like where’s the $$???

@@girlwholikesfidgets936 I see what you mean but I kind of feel like she's not being completely honest about the current status of her relationship with him.... I might be wrong though. I also see someone who's full of regrets following the kind of life she's led for her 43years on earth. A big part of her wants to give up the life but she's very afraid of what's ahead as there are no certainties in life and also because she's not so young anymore. The spirit is willing but the body is really weak type of situation. I only hope she'll realise that there's so much more that life can offer her more than this shitty one she has presently. It's really depressing seeing people live this way😭😭😭😭

That is classic behavior of being abused by a narcissistic person. She loves him but still blames herself for certain things that happened. He made her feel like she was the problem when in fact he was. She feels obligated to protect him. I married my narcissistic abuser years later after leaving him. Divorced him shortly after cuz I had changed and he couldn't control me anymore.
