I had a prostitute save my life. I was working out of town in Ventura CA. I was just not feeling well, had a fever and could hardly walk. I told my forman and he just played it off. He told me I was just f 'd up and to figure it out. Late that morning I made my way to the door of my motel room, opened it and looked around pondering my situation. That's when the prostitute walked by. She looked me in the face and said "dude your dying". She called a guy who does "collections" in the area. She told him which hospital to take me to. It turned out that I had MERSA and the infection had gotten into my bloodstream. I spent the next week in the hospital on 24hr IV antibiotics. When I got out my wife picked me up and I called the phone number she gave me before going to the hospital. She had packed up all my stuff and put it in a safe place for me till I got out. My wife was a little uneasy about the situation, but was also thankful.
