ProTaper ACF 1 1/8" Motorcycle Handlebars

Which bend would you recommend for a supermoto? I have a 450 SMR and need to replace a crashed handlebar; recognize this is MX but I’m not sure what to try out. Thank you 🙏

It shows you riding with them, did you notice better vibration dampening or impact absorption?

Honestly, I didn't notice too much from the ODI Podium bars that I use now. They are lighter but as for damping and vibration, it's sixes for me. - Chase

Hi Are these more suited for Mx tracks? I’m a woods rider and trails rider. And was wondering was was your thoughts

These are built around motocross so yes, they are definitely built for the track. If you like to cut your bars down for woods riding, they state that these bars are not meant to be cut down so keep that in mind. - Chase

What about putting them on a small adv bike with hand guards? Is it possible with the bar inserts?

They don’t advise using bar inserts on this bar but Jeff slavens (slavens racing) has a video where he threads the ends for a bar insert.

Hi Chase Can you use bar ends with these bars. And are they a good single track woods bar or just suited for the track. 👍

When you say bar ends, are you referring to full wrap hand guards? Or like the ODI bar ends?

@@jcbenson01 It is not recommended by ProTaper to use bar ends or handguards that mount using expandable mounts.

Are the SX Race bends back in stock? I keep checking and they’re out of stock on the website.

As of 6/17 they are still out of stock in the SX race bend. Have you hit the "email when available" box? That is an easy way to know when they are in stock.

do you know how thick the clamp is in mm i ordered the wrong triple clamp set (22mm) and they are too small would these be 28mm?

They should be 1 1/8" or 31.8mm just like any other oversized bar

Hey Chase, do you know if you can run a ball-bearing style throttle tube with these?

I'm also wondering this, it looks like the carbon core goes right to the end of the bar so there'd be no room for the bearing/plug end of a alloy/bearing throttle tube.

No, this handlebar should not be cut down.

Anyone recommend what pro taper bars will fit with crosss bar on a 2009 kfx900

Are you talking about a KFX 90 or KFX 700?

@@rmatvmc 700 ty for helping, I have a few atv’s was in Tennessee and found a 2009 kfX 700 the man bought it new in 2008, and when he was taking it off his truck it landed on the back fender and bent the bars. So I grabbed for 1300$ still had plastic bag attached to handle bars. I had to replace the back fender. It’s that m m red. I found a used one for 350$ it was missing the little gas cover and had graphics on it. They came off.and I have the cover for gas cap. Last thing is bars. I’m going to let like my fiancé son and her ride this.I have a banshee, and a honda trx 450r and warrior , but she can’t get the clutch, so she ends up using my big yellow that I use for yard work. But I want a bar with pads. I always like them on my dirt bikes, atv’s but I can’t tell what bars will work. Without doing risers. Or dash eliminator kit. Kawasaki is new to me but I couldn’t pass. And it’s fast for gas and go. Ty and god bless
