Why complicate it? Two biological sexes. Gender is a spectrum. Toilets, changing rooms, hospital wards, prisons and physical sports should follow biology and not gender. When it comes to kids, let them be themselves, wear their hair as they like and clothes that they prefer, but don't lie to them about whether they are a boy or a girl. Sorted.

But gender isn't a spectrum. It meant the exact same as sex since it was introduced into the English language in 1390. It was Trans ideology which changed the meaning. Read about John Money to find out where the spectrum idea came from.

Men and women are human beings, not a spectrum or “social construct”. What you are referring to as the spectrum is the range of characteristics, customs, mannerisms, etc. between masculine and feminine that are varying among individuals regardless of sex. Anybody can be masculine, feminine, or anywhere in between but those things do not establish our status as men and women. To suggest otherwise is both sexist and regressive. Men can be feminine and women can be masculine. Or we can be both. Stereotypes do not give us our status though.
