Great Video. I would always wipe the interior with a damp Optimum No Rinse Rag, Then apply the Protectant Plus. I believe it is more of a dressing that a quick detailer??

Outstanding review. I literally ordered it after watching you excellent review. My car on Monday is going in to get the Opti-Coat Pro Plus treatment. I have found few reviews on the OPTI products designed to be used over time with the Pro Plus, such as the Power Clean, Optimum Opti Clean, Opti-Coat M-Wash, and MDR, Opti Seal, and Hyper Seal, Opti car wash, the no rinse wash and wax, along with the no rinse wash and shine. I need a review to buy these products and a list of which ones you would use to maintain the treatment I get on Monday; the PRO PLUS. Thank you and I am now going to look at all of your videos. Keep up the great work, you could be the next PAN.

@@2old4allthis I used it and use it now and have had no complaints. I reapply it every month. Nothing applied to seats lasts anywhere near as long as advertised and I like the product.

How would this work coupled with Optimum's own POWER CLEAN? Do you think that would be a good combination for doing the heavier cleaning (using Power Clean) as you mentioned that this (Protectant Plus) probably would not cut it on such as deep cleaning of Leather and Vinyl surfaces with heavy contamination. Use Power Clean first, then finish off with this product as a final step? Would that neutralize the Power Clean's heavy cleaning agents?

That's exactly how to use it. I usually have my interior Power Clean set at 5:1. I usually follow with ONR/Opti-Seal. But now I think I'll give this a try.

I know this is 2 years later BUT! On the optimum forum a “guest account” that I’m pretty sure was Yvan Lacroix’s old user, said: [on how often to use protextanr plus] “Once every 3-4 cleanings, or every 3 months. Another option is to mix up 1/2 oz of Optimum No Rinse(ONR), 2-4 oz of Optimum Leather Protectant ( aka Protectant Plus) into 1 gallon of water. This will allow you to clean and protect in 1 step. “ So in a 32 ounce bottle, pour in some 256:1 ONR or the full ratio would be 0.125 : 0.45 : 31.4 There’s also another tip where Guest says to combine power clean and protectant plus with distilled water. I can’t find the post right now for the dilution but it is something like 40/30/30 or whatever and then adding that to a 16 oz bottle and filling the rest with distilled water. So next to nothing in product but allegedly makes a clean protectant combo. Probably have to play with your own dilutions for desired results.

I finally bought a bottle of this. It works as noted in this video and it's very good protectant for pretty much everything in your vehicle. Nice finish after doing a final buff on everything. Just about everything Optimum Polymer Technologies makes is good stuff. Very good line of products if you wanted to stay with one brand for your detailing needs. They pretty much have everything. I love Optimum No Rinse (more commonly know as "ONR" to most people) which is a very versatile product as well as an excellent rinseless wash. There ONR with wax (Green product) is a great rinseless product also. I bought a 32oz bottle and it lasts a LONG time! You will definitely get your monies worth on the ONR products. I also really like the Opti-Seal spray on sealant as a final buff product to really get a great gloss on your vehicle. A little bit of Opti-Seal goes a LONG way! It's a great sealant and will give you a couple months protection, which is fine, because I wash my vehicle weekly and spray on Opti-Seal and boom....DONE. Very quick sealant to apply, it almost disappears when wiping. No streaking at all. Highly recommend ALL of Optimum Polymer Technologies products!

I've had a bad allergic reaction to my interior protection. HOW DO I REMOVE IT!?? I tried almost everything, vinegar, rubbing alcohol even baking soda. Does anyone know how way to remove it??
