mrs. crumplebottom and agnes crumplebottom are 2 different people, although there’s implication by the unique surname that they must be somehow related? honestly, even though they’re canonically different people, i have a hard time believing it😅 agnes & mrs are rather similar. maybe great great aunt & the crumplebottom women have a generational curse that only affects one daughter in her love life?
