PROTECTION DEADPOOL vs RONAN (Standard 2/Expert 2) Marvel Champions Playthrough

Wade looked to the entire room of his 'fellow' superheroes. Proudly he nodded at them, they were no doubt amazed at his grand tale about how he bravely destroyed Ronan the Accuser. Single HANDEDLY!! With NO HELP whatsoever. [Please ignore machine man and Nick Fury, thank you]. In fact, he did all while on the defensive, he didn't even try his hardest. It was the easiest fight ever, he said, how it only lasted like 17 minutes, 15 minutes with filler removed, whatever that means. Yet he did it. Unfortunately nobody in the room believed him, as they all immediately threw tomatoes at him and booed. The Merc with the Mouth didn't win them over with his tall tale. Deadpool exited the superhero club, kicked a trash can over and swore angrily. Aw well, his achievements not recognized again? Who cares. At least those chump alternate dimension guardians paid to take that hammer loser out. BESIDES! Deadpool once again managed to cheat the system. 'Beat that big blue palooka with green skills, except he'll be using Standard 2s and Expert 2s'. Whatever the hell that meant! Wade did NOT care, cause guess what? That idiot Ronan drew only one of those cards! He summoned that CHUMP Butler instead of one of his guys! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! NICE ENCOUNTER SET NERD!! HAHAHAHA! WADE WINS AGAIN! RONAN CAN'T BEAT HIM IF HE DOESN'T GET TO PLAY THE GAME! AHAHAHAHHA!!!! NICE HP BAR YOU BIG KREE- This continued for several more minutes as Wade proceeded to list every single foul insult he could think for the kree and blue related items. Wade also insisted that this was the best win ever and nobody should dare question it. Since somebody LAST TIME a DISHONEST person claimed he 'Bribed Bulldozer', lies AND slander. He didn't 'bribe' Bulldozer he just hired him to do a job. A job that was 'Don't do your current job'. ------------------- 🤔Hmmmm. Deadpool displayed what he did best here. Either he explodes into gibs, dies terribly and the villain runs him over... Or the villain gets sliced in half. In this case? The villain got cut cleanly in half. Well piloted per usual and cool to see Deadpool in action. Rush isn't in my wheelhouse of styles I enjoy as it takes the game out too quick and feels like you don't really get to play the villain out or feel their gimmicks over a long duration. Yet it is a sure as hell EFFECTIVE hot knife toward butter for certain scenarios. As for Deadpool himself, never really found myself interested in him gameplay wise. Always loved him more as an ally. Though I know Deadpool is careful of methodical careful gameplay using his gimmicks. Regardless of my personal biases, it was cool seeing a game at a different pace then usual and pretty cathartic you hitting Ronan in early turns as hard as he hits the heroes. He deserves it after the many OTKs he has dished out to the player base.

Haha love that Deadpool story 😂👌🏻 I just realized you love Deadpool and ‘Pool but also prefer building out. I never realized the conflicting nature of that since I also love Deadpool, ‘Pool, and of course building out 😁🤝 And i totally agree Ronan deserves getting hit with heavy chunks of damage as revenge for the whole player base. At the end, you forgot the third encounter card from the upgrade "Symbiot Suit". you told it : somebody wanted you to play in protection but the bast way to play him is in justice with "one way or another" and "IPAC". The game is so chaotic

Even despite the missed encounter card at the end I think you achieved proof of concept with this deck. Solid gameplay, I'd argue Deadpool, despite consistency issues, is S tier due to his high ceiling meaning he will beat any scenario if you brute force enough plays (not sure who else I can say this for). Also my dawg how you gonna abandon Peter when the challenge gets tough lol

Haha i dont want to play Pete in green 🤪 Thanks for the kind words! I totally see the case for Deadpool in S tier and i agree that he can brute force scenarios better than almost any other hero. That being said, i think other heroes not brute forcing scenarios can also defeat every scenario at a higher clip than Wade but that’s just my opinion

Thank you thank you!! I don't think it's cheesing at all! 😂 Even though you don't consider Deadpool to be S-tier, he is The Anchor Being able to defeat s2e2 Ronan. This will be an entertaining response to Deadpool haters moving forward. "If he's so bad, simply defeat s2e2 Ronan in protection with any hero you think is stronger"😂🧂🥶💀

That’s how I also play Deadpool. It’s better to control when you are using your ability so you don’t overwhelm yourself
