hiii gorgeous, i have a question. my clip-ins are crunchy, all i used was shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, but my curls are tighter than yours even after that, even though i got the 3b-3c as well… yours look so elongated and more wavy, what did i do wrong ? 😭 update: I FIGURED IT OUT. i missed the gel part, went back and did it and it’s so beautiful ! i had to dye my leave out because my hair is damn near orange sooo 🥴 thank you for this tutorial, you’re an angel ! 😍

Yeah they suggest you take them out but her way of putting them in on a protective style makes it easy to leave them in for a night or two without damage.

Your clips ins are so defined and less tightly curled. Did u condition them first and use products before installing them?

Heyy, 3b/3c is a looser coil texture. This video was my 2nd install on these clip ins but even the first one wasn’t tight. I with new installs I condition and use light curl products

I like when my hair gets old so it lasts over a week before I need to refresh the curls or take it out. That’s the convenience of it. Also it’s 1 set of 10 clip ins!!

I got these in 3b/3c as well 16”. My ending curl pattern once dry is a much tighter curl. What kind of mousse are you using to make a looser curl?

A tighter curl may mean it’s the 3c/4a texture! But if not, I style when the hair is wet and use Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and Garnier fruit is leave in and the serum as my finisher. I use mousse as a refresher throughout the week if needed.

Kiara Lewis hey after the second install I learned to not manipulate it too much, if I do I used a wide tooth comb when damp or my fingers to detangle. I noticed it doesn’t shed much when I do that. Most curly hair I’ve had does shed. We naturally brush it out and define the curls so much that we tugging on it too much
