Hey Steve…Darron here from the Columbus, OH area…awesome video Sir….Just curious… if you’re driving straight into your garage and have to turn your front tires even a little, will the floor displace..?? My assumption is that once the entire floor is installed from wall-to-wall, it wouldn’t move since the entire assembled floor would have the support of the garage walls to prevent any movement..?? Your thoughts..?? Thanks again, Sir…awesome job…
@ProtectiveDadPranks
@ProtectiveDadPranks 11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I back my Vette in and never an issue accept you don’t want to gun it once your rear tires are in first and front tires on the pavement or it could slide it forward “very rare”. I just get some momentum and it goes right in. When I park my wife’s car I drive front first and do turn her tires quite a bit when I’m in half way. The issue with Jason’s Vette I believe was his wide tires turning near the front of the deck. He’s parked in my garage at least 20 more times since then and have never had an issue again.

I’m a fan of the free flow. I like how the dust drops into the cracks. Keeps my garage much more dust free IMO.
@Rayzaa101
@Rayzaa101 Жыл бұрын
Id go solid. Just sweep out whatever dust or whatever gets on it or wipe off if any liquids like oil get on it. If it isn't solid, it's tough to get out between the cracks. Id rather do a sweep every now and then than have dust stuck between my cracks and then it's harder to vacuum out. Just my opinion. Id rather do epoxy myself but he has a point. Takes a couple days and in my garage, we have lots of stuff in there. Freezer, fridge, drawers, stacked shelves that are filled up with things,...ugh. either way id have to move it all but the tiles take a few hours.
@dubmob151
@dubmob151 3 ай бұрын
It seems like preferences between carpet vs hardwood flooring, the carpet traps and holds the dust while the hardwood flooring shows it up as a layer of dust that's unsightly but easier to clean.
