Mine were my own parents and eventually a maternal aunt. The best thing I've ever done is walk away and go no contact. I have been working out the hot mess that was the beginning 75% of my life for years in therapy. It does get a little better each day.

this audio kinda reminded me of a scary situation when i was a wee little lad there was this guy at a shop that was looking at me in the strangest way even though i was a young boy the man stared at me for a whole minute without me noticing till my mom came and picked me up. I might not consider myself female when it comes to this audio but this really helped. It's been a lot between some people of my family and me, especially since I came out to them as a trans male. Anytime I visit one of them, they do whatever to make me feel hurt. Whether it's physical or verbal, they really don't support me. They don't even do it in front of my parents, and honestly, I'm too scared to tell either my mom or dad without feeling like the other people of family would make things worse if they knew I told someone. Right now, I'm really glad to have found this audio.

This was an amazing audio, and the script was amazing with how it dealt with a sensitive issue. I thank God I haven't had to deal with physical abuse I'm my life but I had to deal with sexual abuse when I was 4 from my own father, but It was able to comfort me! ❤️ (I was unlucky to not get any justice and the police didn't believe my story at all) but I am all OK now just a lack in confidence.

Not all abuse is physical, and this might sound silly even, but a lot of times that I come back home from being with "family" I listen to this audio. Not because I want someone to beat up my problem but because I wish there were someone who would care instead of laugh because "you're taking things to heart" or "you're exaggerating" or "you can't take a joke" or just ignore the issue like it didn't happen at all. Fortunately, I'm more removed from it than I was a couple of years ago, but I'm still forced into said interactions every once in a while and it's just nice to have nearly 9 minutes of someone who'd care.

My dad is abusive I can’t take it anymore I’ve had family helpers everything and nothing changed, I’m happy I met this one guy I’m happily in love with him and He’s gonna get me outta here , so yeah like running away I’m just so glad I met him no one ever accepted me for my issues and problems but he accepted me and takes care of me tries his best we’ve been together for 9 months I trust him and love him with all my heart so please dw ab me hopefully he can heal my inner child and everything will change. Mkay so imma tell y’all my story. In high school I found a boyfriend who is the most sweet boy I’ve ever known. By the time of high school I had cut contact with my dad and his new wife but he randomly showed up one day and on the schools speakers they called my name saying ‘youre dads here for you’ I immediately texted my bf and all my guy friends who knew about it and they immediately left their classes to find me. Back then I always had a fear of that happening but when it did, my boys protected me from his sight and in short and much sweeter words told him to leave. After I called my mom and we started a restraining order. Haven’t seen him since.

This made me cry a bit. I was abusive relationship in college. I didn't tell anyone because they wouldn't have believed me. So I kept quiet. He started abusing me. Mentally physical and emotional . He made me feel like I was ugly. And nobody would love me or want me. Then when the bruises and marks started showing that's when my friends confronted him. It took a long time for me to trust people again. I still have flashbacks and still have moments. I was lucky I had friends to help me and get outta that relationship. I now have a husband who helping me back to the person I was. But please if you are in this situation please get help or talk to someone Sorry for this long comment
