Lots of examples in Scripture (David, Hezekiah, Gideon) where God shows us that He doesn’t put stock in numbers and we shouldn’t either. You are doing His work. YES! Jewish roots ‼️ I love this because as a convert from Judaism, it makes so much sense to me. Besides books, Roy Schoeman has a great testimony too. His other book, Honey from the Rock, is conversion stories he compiled, Jews who became Catholic. Also Brant Pitre has great books on Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist, Mary, etc. I think it’s impossible to appreciate the Mass adequately without recognizing the liturgical roots in Judaism, all the way back to God’s revelation to Moses of the Heavenly Pattern that Moses was instructed to follow in designing the format for worship that God wanted for the Tent, the Temple, and today, the Catholic Mass.
