From someone whose been flying solo for a long time, how do you feel about the proteus for solo?

it's super fun. :) i dont really like flying stuff like orthrus. because you can get easy dumb kills with them, but that's it, no fun, no bird. this proteus is tough to fly, but it's strength also very unpredictable for enemies, so i love it.

but if you are looking for easy kill and hard death, fly fast kiting ships like orthrus or navy osprey.

@@flowerfallen yeah the orthrus is just too easy. Obviously this is a situational question, but what’s the main strategy flying the prot? Essentially get on top of anything up to BCs?

@@versacetudo9243 yes, it can get under battleship gun (but depends on enemies fit) . But the main strength of the prot in the video is it's scram range(21km) ,ammo range(>20km with null), and its dps(sth like 900 with void) . so you can either scram kite if enemy is little too dangerous to be close, or brawl if you are sure that you can melt it. so it is a very versatile ship which is also dependent on pilot skill.
