Nobody has ever asked me, but the initial layer of the main portion never plays on its own. The reason I added it is because (a) it sounds cool, and (b) I think the decision to have no music play until you’re spotted is... strange, wrong? Whatever you want to call it. I think the synth layer should have been used for the entire sequence, with the other layer coming in if you’re under attack. Usually I don’t take such creative license, but I think it’s justified here.

I completely agree with you, when I first decided to pay attention to the music while I played this game, I was skeptical about the fact that no theme played at that point

I don't know the exact context where the actual Arkham City theme does play, but I did noticed that it usually plays when you near the end of the helicopter scanning task. Sometimes it ends earlier, other times later, but it apparently always tries to play when you head for Wonder Tower. And yeah, it sounds very cool, brings everything together very well. Great job on this one.

@@theguy3129 really in the Arkham game it takes lots of punches and kicks to completely stun the villains and its so painful. That's why I was fan of Assassin's Creed upto AC Syndicate then Ubisoft ruined the franchise. Same goes with Batman games. Spiderman was fun by the way.
