But that's okay, i think overall this is a good car. Barang baik, tak rugi tunggu. I hope proton will be able to speed up production and somehow deliver the car earlier. :)

I agree! If you are thinking of getting the persona premium, space grey is definitely the best colour. The only thing is that it has a longer waiting time.

I agree. Without the headrest, it would be dangerous should the car get into an accident. Nothing to support the head or the neck during whiplash.

Hello! Thanks for the detailed review. In your opinion, what is better, a brand new Persona premium, or used Kia Cerato (2017-2018) for the same price range?

Thank you for dropping in a comment. Personally, I have never been into a Kia Cerato 2017 so i cannot really advice you on which is better. But from i've seen on youtube, it seems that the cerato 2017 is superior interms of exterior and interior. The cerato definetely looks good from the outside and on the inside, it surely appears more premium as it has leather and power seats (depending on the specs). Also The Kia Cerato is a C-segment car while the Persona is a B-segment car. If you like a bigger car definitely go for the Cerato. I think if you compare the specs of the two cars, clearly the cerato would seemed like a better choice. But you have to take into consideration that the cerato is almost 5 years old and that's when most car would enter the problematic phase. You want to make sure that the spare parts for the Cerato are affordable and easily obtainable. No point buying a used car that burn a hole in your pocket. Atleast with the persona you know that it's a new car and it is locally assembled thus spare parts would atleast be afforable and easily obtainable. And then there is the resale value, since the Cerato is coming to 5 years, the value would greatly depreciate. Even now you are buying it for the price of a new persona that is quite shocking. The persona on the other hand will hold its value better since it's a newer car plus and it is locally assembled which means easier access to spare parts. Usually cars that are easy to maintain hold better resale value like the myvi. But if resale value isnt a concern then i guess, the 2017 Kia Cerato would be a better choice provided that it is in GOOD CONDITION. In the end, it all comes down to what you want in your car. @@maksrassi yes i think so too. With new cars at least you will not have to worry about technical problems anytime soon. And with the new persona i can say that the ride is really smooth. It drives really well i am surprised a car below 60k can get you that level of comfort eventhough it's a B segment car. If you are still not sure which car to choose, the perhaps booking a persona test drive at the nearest showroom would probably help you in decision making. If you like how it drives, then i guess just go for the persona 😊. Anyway thank you for spending some time watching my videos. Appreciate the support.

@@maksrassi theres a reason why it depreciate too much in a span of 5 years.. problems starts creeping.. ull just waste money on fixing it plus u also need to pay the monthly loan on top of that.. the cheap secondhand price is to lure u in to take the troubles off their hands.. no seller wants to sell at a loss..

Thank you for your comment. As for the fuel consumption, for me personally it's about 7.0 - 8.0L / 100km. Mostly doing city driving, speeds below 90km coz we don't really have highways here in kuching. But I cannot say the same for other persona owners coz we all drive differently. Anyway hope the info helps.

To be honest it's okay not that impressive. Average around 7L / 100km. But if you use eco mode can definitely get better mileage. But of course these things are hard to predict because everyone drives differently. But atleast you get good acceleration with the persona 1.6 👍

Hi there. Thanks for dropping a comment. Unfortunately the steering wheel does NOT have illuminated control buttons. So when you are driving at night it can be a nuisance especially when you want to control music volume or skip to next track, you can't see which button is which unless you memorize the position of the controls or switch on the lights.

On the speedometer the max speed number is 220kmph. But in reality, the max speed you can possibly go on the road with this car is around 180kmph.

Thanks for the video, it's really useful for me to make decision on what car I want to buy. May I know usually full tank RM80 petrol, how often you you refill petrol again in city drive from your experience. My old Honda currently cost RM50 around 250km in city drive.

Thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment. I apologize i can't provide you with an accurate answer on how many times i refill a week because it depends. Nowadays i seldom go out. So a full tank might last a week or longer. But from my city driving experience, the fuel consumption is around 7.0 - 8.0L / 100km with normal drive mode. But if i use the ECO mode then maybe i can average 6.0 - 7.0L / 100km. Hope this info is useful.

THis car petrol tank only have 40 liter, so if nearly empty maybe u can refill rm65 to rm70 n from my experience 2 weeks driving the car u can get around 400 to 450 km per full tanks but if city driving maybe around 360 to 380 i guess but i hope i will be better after 5k mileage after engine not tight anymore 😁

Yes it's true the piano black part is nice to see but difficult to maintain. Easy to get scratched too. But i guess for people who know how to take care of their car interior, i guess this is not really an issue.

I don't think the camera is the issue, but more to do with the infotainment system boot up time. If they can somehow introduce a software update to speed up the the boot up time or perhaps fix the stuttering during boot up, that would solve the issue.

yooo my 2019 proton saga's reverse camera is smoother than that. What happened? hahahaha owh and the sun visors are kinda cheap 😥 Even the proton saga's sun visors looks nicer with a clip for cards and a mirror cover.

Yes. The camera is laggy especially when you first start the car. But fortunately the camera image is quite clear. Hopefully proton can find a way to make the camera smoother with some firmware update or something.

Now waiting for persona executive jet grey to arrive next week after booked in end of september… initially want to get saga premium s but change mind to get persona instead… sadly persona premium space grey need to wait 6++ months 😢 so just settle with the executive… great sharing 🫡
