because this car is for touge racing, cornering and not jalan lurus la brader...thats why R3 are more focus on suspension and brakes...if this car are made for drag , sure R3 will focus on HP, this engine have many potential..racing piston and so on..i already see campro defeat mivec...just search it on youtube and you will saw one...not only that , there are also a video named "final.3gp" , in that video, you will see the campro gen2 defeat crx vtec

Top Gear is purely entertainment, i dnt take their reviews too seriously. My dad had one of these and I enjoyed it. People forget that Proton is an affordable brand and the Satria isn't a "hot hatch" that does 0-100km/h in 6.5s. It's just a more-than-decent-affordable-hatch. Handles really well. Only thing I didn't like about it was 1. ride was a bit hard and 2. it didn't have a turbo :)

But what I have seen is that, govt. lebih suka buat partnership ngn syrikat2 lain instead of educating their own future engineers. Last time, Volkswagen pernah offer utk buat partnership ngan Proton in which both part parts obtained mutual benefits. enough to juice up as the torque is 170++... meaning is uses less power to produce great performance..example: normal walkman uses 2 AA batteries.. then one of my friend bought this Sony latest walkman from Japan; it uses only 1 (ONE) AA battery for the same great performance. So it's about efficiency. Well, if 145bhp or 1.6L is not enough in real races, Im sure they will crank it up to 300 or 400 bhp and bigger engine for the purpose.
