This has allowed me to take almost any recording, force it into a fixed tempo, and load it into guitar pro for transcribing. This has upped my transcription game in ways I never thought possible. Thank you 😊

Thanks! You explained this so well that I was able to fix a demo from the 90's within just a few minutes. Something I've been wanting to fix since well, the 90's! :)

Thanks. This is genius. Spent quite a lot of yesterday getting frustrated trying to do exactly this, and you explained it brilliantly in 5 mins. Tim.

Hey Thanks AGAIN! It had been a while since I had to convert a cover song (mp3) to a constant tempo, but once again this video clearly lays out the steps!

OMG!! thank you so much! I often get recordings from groups to learn their material, and it's recorded with a drummer who's time is all over the place... Now I can take those recordings, and learn the tunes by playing along with the band in GOOD TIME! amazeballs!

Very specific order that I tend to screw up. Adapt Tempo is key to bar 1 bet 1 alignment and turning on Flex at the right time!

what if there are multiple stems, do you repeat the process for each file?

this was really really helpful, I have never attempted to use any of these adaptive tempo features in Logic, astonished how good it is at detecting varying tempos in a recording and matching the clock to it

What a wonderful thing to share. Thank you! Have you tried importing the audio file then opening smart tempo and applying region tempo to project tempo? I think the result is the same. No need to line up the upbeat of the audio file to a bar first. I say this because you still need to do this after applying region tempo to project (and Keep Tempo) when lining up to bar later.

Good advices! My English speaking understanding isn’t quit enough to get all details you so kindly share. Could it be possible to include CC so I (maybe some more non English speakers) could keep better track of your instructions? Thank You so much.

You know how many times iv done songs that needed multiple takes because I go slightly off time? Can this fix this? Cos a lot of the time I just get carried away with a performance and then when I tighten it up in another take I feel there is something missing then

Can this software change a karaoke track from one key to another, (transpose)?
@jeffweber5212 ай бұрын
Why would you want to force the entire song into the same tempo? You're sacrificing a large part of the original performance. Fluctuations in tempo can give the performance more of a human feel.
