Prototype shot blockers for entire hockey skate! No more pain - S1 E3

Shot blockers are a game changer and blocking shots in a game makes you a game changer. when you dive down/ drop to a knee it takes you out of the play. I've used shot blockers since they came out and excited they've come out with a version protecting the toe box and also the back of the heel which previously was open to injury. your feet are made of small brittle bones it amazes me that kids still think it's uncool until they're out for a season then end up getting them after the injury... every time someone makes fun of me for wearing them they usually take one off the foot the same skate lol

Shot blockers are great, in the last year 2 guys on my team have had foot injuries from blocking shots or just taking shots off the foot. I hope thoes don't rattle too much, wouldn't want to rattling up and down the ice.

Shopping for a skate protector today...after blocking a shot...in error, of course, with the side of my skates. And yes....being able to go to work the next day is highest priority, in the end.

Love all you upload, thank you!!!Now if these guards can be color matched to team colors that'd be dope. Actually it'd be even sweeter to see skate boots and blade holders also having this option. The California Golden Seals did this in the early 70's, why cant the NHL allow this now? Even The Great One had his blade holders in Blue to match with Edmonton and when Nike signed him he had those beautiful white Nike Airs with the blue holders. Why isn't this done or allowed in the NHL???

It's a fairly common thing out in Europe and Russia. Many of those league out there use it so they can put advertisements on the tape, so a lot of players get used to it. I played with plenty of guys from Sweden, Russia, Czech, and Denmark who continued to play with the packing tape because they were used to it. I do admit it looks very funny though.

I had vapor skates 3 days after I got them I played a game I took shot the hole game and when I took my skates off I saw that the toe of the skate was cracked luckily I did not get injured but since then I have been using skate protectors I will never again play with out them

Random question. New to hockey. If your jock has Velcro on it do you still need/ supposed to use sock tape?

you wont need sock tape if u have velcro however some players still wear sock tape anyways

If I'd had something like this when I played I might have tried blocking a shot every now and then. It's a bit odd watching Lewis Hamilton, or any English guy, doing a hockey related video.
