just use a helicopter for this event. I managed to complete it in 1:54 using a gunship i previously hijacked and parked near the event marker. Then it's just spamming the super-soldiers with rockets and gunfire until the give in.

That's rough! Though requires much of a luck I think - it's not easy to catch such a dense crowd of SS on a devastator.

2:45 by using the groundspike devastator and using the jump slash with the blade on single or small groups of enemies.

even easier, do the jump and hold x attack to kick them and then use the blades y attack in mid air it does a shit ton of damage and make sure to use the x+y devestator when there's a lot around; got 1:49 as my time

If you have already got the correct score for platinum before unlocking platinum, are you awarded platinum as soon as it's unlocked? As I have 2.35 on this challenge and was wondering will I get platinum rewards immediately.

On PC you hold down both clicks at the same time and on PS3/PS4 you hold down square and triangle.
