I still love this band, even though their last album came out 13 years ago. I can't believe it's been so long... I wish they would regroup.

*I love them too. I first heard of them in an Apple commercial... I think it was for an iPod. I’ve loved them since then.*

There were SO MANY amazing and talented musicians throughout the 90's and 2000's that never got their "big break" as regular airplay on the radio, because the "industry" was focused on urban hip hop and pop. Biggest marketing mistake EVER. So much good music remained "in the ground" like unfound GOLD. We are the privileged few. Look at the count. Less than 200 know what the "industry" skipped, and the world missed out on. One of those bad DIVERGENT moments in human history.

Not sure what 'it' is but this song just captures 'it' in so many ways. It's modern but old school all rolled into one.

I'm American (unfortunately) but here are some good french bands/people (france and quebec) that i've found: Roch Voisine (QC), Jean-Louis Aubert (Fr), Alerliefste (Fr) If you find any, let me know, i'm still looking as well

Is this translation right? “Fall, and get up again It’s in this way That you’ll learn Clash like ice cubes, It’s in this way, That you’ll understand Exist, any way you can Bite your nails Punch someone Hurl all these forces At the shelves of stores … Think of all the solutions In this game of fools That stands in your way Think of all the impressions You give yourself Which you will become” I feel like this song helped me understand American corporate life, and survive it

@bisouskuesse : these bands are not really "rock bands"... For (Indie) french rock/pop/folk, Check out : Elista, Dionysos, Déportivo, Quidam, Noir Désir, Katel, Emilie Simon, Luke, mokaiesh or have a look @ my favourites . If you like "light pop" (lalala!), try Superbus or Kinito (looks like greenday)
