Man, your videos are great. There is zero chance I will ever build this (I don't even have a lathe) but I am still sitting here watching the whole thing.

The vibrations you refer to at the end are harmonic vibrations a combination of rpm’s/wood hardness and tool cuts. If the arms were put into a cut you can make in the upright wouldn’t that help with dampening any harmonics and also make the turning more stable. I like the simplicity of your design. I am going to try this with some 72 mm wheels and 74a silicone material. Thanks for your demo it was good to see one completed.

Thanks for the input, ya still need more testing with different arm positions. My lack of experience is part of the problem im sure.

use a rubber band on the bolts, that will keep the wheels on the shaft...
