In 8th grade........late 60's, a new band was just breaking out in the Bay Area. The hottest girl at school, just had a brother who played drums in a band; she got the band to come play at the school. My intro to John Fogarty and CCR. Real hard for me to really wrap myself around the Tina Turner disaster of this great song. So i'll leave it at that; and still say Casi Joy best vocalist on KZbin. On to other songs.

That's said, I must add than Casi is an amazing singer. She 'll certainly could be a star, the package is there. She could sing any CCR cover and do a phenomenal job. But her voice is a Linda Ronstadt kind of voice, in a country rock or pop rock register.
