@@EdMylettShow Honestly I think this topic. I found him (and you) through impact theory so I've seen a good number of his talks and interviews. I don't think I've really ever heard him mention this. Definitely a LOT of great content in this video otherwise and this was definitely not an avenue I expected to hear. I thought my life had nothing to offer anymore because life became meaningless to me cause, I had HERPES virus, the symptoms became very severe & conspicuous and it made my family abandoned me so they won't get infected. I gave up everything, my hope, dreams, vision, and job because the doctor told me there's no cure. I consumed so many drugs but they never cured me they only suppressed the symptoms inside me making it worse. I was doing some research online on how to get a permanent when I came across testimonies of some people on how Dr. Aloha cured them of HERPES virus, I never believed at first and thought it was a joke but later decided to contact him through his Email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com when I messaged him we communicated and he prepared the Herbal Cure and sent it to my address which I provided and He told me to go for a test after two weeks. Within just 7 days of using the medication, the symptoms disappeared, and when I went for a test Lo and behold I tested NEGATIVE by the same Doctor Who tested me earlier. Thank you so much Dr. Aloha I forever owe my life to you and I'll keep on telling the world about you. If you are going through the same situation worry no more and contact Dr. Aloha via Email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com or Call/Text: +1(202) 871-3222

I’ve learned to stop feeling bad about being different and odd from the rest of my co-workers. I am self aware that I am smart in a different way. Others are faster to remember things, faster to speak their mind but careless of what feeling they gave to others, or they might be smarter than I am because they experience more. However, I have HEART. It is amazing when Jim described Ed being the “super human” wearing a cape but on the other hand being “super human” emotionally. That is beautiful because lots of people wants to be heroes at work that able to tackle all problems; but more likely forgot to be truthful, caring, or simply just stop to listen. I love every part of the conversation. Thank you very much for helping me to believe in myself and gain confidence to continue to be who I am!

You'd be surprised at how many hangups successful people have about their own perceived intelligence and their ability to write a good book. I love how Jim talks about having to relearn how to learn. Many of us are walking around with wounds inflicted upon as children in school and at home with our parents. It holds us back in ways we don't understand until we start to take a hard look on our lives. That's why I'm so excited to hear Jim talk about self love and learning in the same sentence. Learning should feel good and be exciting. HEART goals (as Jim puts it)... Such a great interview!

People with the most negative self talk are the ones with emotional trauma which of course affected their self-esteem and self-love. With conventional therapy is that we need to dig deeper to understand that event that caused all the grieve. However, life is too short. I believe in self-love irrespective of the past. Once we understand how thoughts are made and the difference between consciousness and our animal/primitive braiin that's when a more heart-felt realization will be made. Conventional therapy needs to be revamped.

When i was little and maybe up to 12, i used to remember people's names easily, i knew by heart birthdays of everyone i knew, i remembered everything from classes and if i was absent, i would read a lecture once and will remember it clearly and even where what was written. And suddenly I've noticed my ability to do so has disappeared. I was sure and am now pretty sure that it hasn't disappeared forever, but it was me starting to worry more about what people think, i went into a self loathing phase, making myself feel like a victim, alone and hateful, and I've stired into that after 4 years and have been getting out of it for 4 more years. Recently I've been feeling like my old self more and more and more, and have been listening to your videos and others, like andy for example. You guys have helped me a lot, helped me to wake up, and are helping me to wake up even more. Life is tough, i still struggle but that's the way it goes. But overall, i feel so much happier. I think that by default, I'm more content. I used to hate success because people have hated on me for it. I used to feel bad for being accomplished in school but what was keeping me going was actually people telling me i am mad for wanting to try something hard, for example, enroll in a school that is very hard to get in, and similar stuff. But i always did. I've told them to watch, and i always did succeed. I've started to ramble, maybe I'm just collecting my mind, but even tho I'm kinda naturally good at this stuff, these videos help me a lot, i always feel like I don't know enough and turns out I'm right!!! There is always a space to grow and get better at whatever no matter how good you are. If you are the best, you can still grow! And you should. Never rest. Thanks once again for making this

So much said in this presentation was a reflective affirmation of my own experiences: The greatest revelation is that the hard hits in life, the seemingly unfair, bad luck, effects in life from negative programming and decisions ALL WORK TOGETHER FOR OUR GROWTH! Some of my best aspects and attributes have developed in me as a direct result of the hardships in life I have endured. When I think about it, they all brought into my life something I was asking for. We usually think about that in negative terms but what I’ve learned is that everything in the Universe of FORMS is “DYNAMIC” having 2 equally opposite sides to the ONE. A wave goes high and then just as low. The pendulum swings as far to one side as it does the other. Our worst is also our best! Its not as much about what you have or don’t have as it is about what we DO with what we have or even don’t have.

Love it ! I bought a book years ago on Speed Reading. I read it slowly. (LOL) I had to be HYPNOTIZED to remove some life long brain chatter from something a 2nd grade teacher told me. I AM A GENIUS in so many ways and deep inside I knew it until that teacher said something. F me up! I'm now ok and really believe in BRAIN HEALTH. My mom had Alzheimer's too, so I'm really focusing on this BRAIN HEALTH! THANKS!!!!

Ed and Jim, Wow, wow, wow and wow again! So between learning to unlearn the habits of a young reader to the incredible personalization of name recognition to so much more.

I am actually kicking myself right now! I’ve seen Jim advertised a few places but thought it was just about speed reading (& I read fast!) so over looked it - what a huge mistake! 🙈😂. This is literally one of the best videos I’ve watched this year - and I have watched 100’s!! My biggest takeaway by far was that you learn best when you combine it with fun and emotion, that makes so much sense to me! Like my Daughter could only concentrate on her homework with loud pop music, and I learn best in a practical workshop setting with other people as it’s more fun! But the biggest proof that this is true is trauma - for instance the reason people get PTSD is because the memories are linked with high intensity and Huge emotion - that’s negative learning - but it’s also why people with PTSD can’t just ‘get over it’ - it’s hard wired into their brain! So it makes perfect sense that if you link intensity (fun) and emotion to something you will learn it SO much faster!! Thanks Jim, that was such awesome information! And fantastic question at the end Ed - with an excellent answer! Jim would you do a piece on PTSD and how to ‘un learn’ it please - because if anyone could teach you how to unlearn, it will be you! (Logically I’m thinking it’s take the intensity out, but as it’s stored in your boast as well as brain I’m not quite sure how?!). Right, I’m off to listen to this again, amazing! 🤗👏❤️

Totally been relating to the “being good at remembering names”. I said I was bad at names for a long time. I eventually figured out I used that statement as an excuse to be lazy. Something to make me feel better about failing. Now I write down names as I meet people. Remembering a name and addressing people as so is very powerful with persuasion.

Ed, I gotta say man, you're my superhero? I've been listening to you for about two months and it is just making a huge difference in my life. I'm thinking different and because I'm thinking different I'm acting different. I feel like a snake shedding that old skin and going in a new direction. I know you're religious so you will understand what I mean when I say, "But he that is greatest among you will be your servant." In your case this is a prophecy. I believe its your service that will make you the greatest. Keep it up Ed. You rock!

Possibly the best interview ever it benefits all ! Especially for love learning anything that also evolves medical truth ! Sebastain asked what my wish would be we answered different same meaning! He said top 10 smartest ! I do know for a fact if you teach a baby 3 even 4 languages they learn fast and are very smart. Having worked at a well known Hospital in pediatrics also I know for a fact talking to baby’s like adults not like baby’s helps learning ! It’s all very true I did an experiment and it worked ! Love this interview epic ! My older son Eddie came in and said his name and said I listen to him 😀 ! Absolutely on point ! He also says stuff you already said to us ! All brilliant 2 brilliant people! MaxOut to the 1 trillion power 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

There is so much great stuff in this episode I had to watch it twice. I already started utilizing the BE SAUVE technique to remembering names. It really hit home that the names you normally remember is due to the fact you have an emotional attachment to the person. Your content has helped me become a better version of me in 2019. Thank you Ed

I think the first key thing that I received from this meeting with Jim Kwik is. "I have to learn to read faster" because I spend hours reading sometimes and if I can reduce that by 50%. But this video is so action-packed that I have to listen to it several times I like to concentrate on one key thing and that is normally the first key thing I'm going to go back and listen to it again and I will comment every key thing I here in this video I've heard so many key things in this video I can't even thinkbut this video is so action packed that I have to listen to it several times I like to concentrate on one thing and that is normally the first key thing I'm going to go back and listen to it again and I will come in every he thing I here in this video I heard so many he things in this video I can't even think of anything else but I need to start reading faster any information out there on teaching to read faster please tag me #max out #Dennisrepetition

Ed even before Jim Kwik demonstrated the skill of being present in a conversation with someone you were all in. I watched your (Ed Mylett) facial expressions, body language during the interview with Jim Kwik . You were totally focused in the interview, your being present had me present because you did not constantly interupt Jim Kwik with your information and input. I am taking Jim Kwik's note taking strategy with me to a meeting today. Thank you Ed Mylett , remembering your name.

EdMylett i really appreciate you replying. firstly, the easiest and most on the surface item is the subvocalization during reading. That’s something i really want to look into more. Secondly, and more profoundly i guess is the other quote i commented from Jim Kwik to the effect of loving yourself *again* because of all the things you’ve been through and are still standing. I need to unpackaged it and absorb it more but i think that’s a huge point for me right now.

It has happened to me and others I’ve talked with. Then at that very moment Jim starts to talk about transcending past what we’ve been programmed to believe. Ask and you shall receive! 🤙

OMG amazing! Jim's energy is really grounded and hes such a great speaker-he uses emotion SO wisely when he speaks. Some Gems: ALL LEARNING IS STATE DEPENDING! (meaning-emotion, tied to information, becomes a long term memory! Get moving!). Human brain learns through creation.... (thats why we truly learn through "doing"....) Socrates says-learning is remembering! The brain is a muscle! Use it or lose it! If you just do the easy things in life.... and procrastinate the hard-then life, is hard. Do the hard things in life, then life becomes EASY! If you work out, youre more mentally FIT! MAX OUT! The reason we HAVE a brain, is to control our movement!! *As your body moves you brain grooves! Will Smith-"I dont get ready... I stay ready"! The life you live, are the lessons you teach. LISTEN = SILENT. To get smarter you need 2 things....Novelty. Nutrition. Then, rest. Learn, with the intention of teaching. When you teach-you get to learn it twice! You learn, to earn to return! Your external words, become a childs inner world. If you fight for your limitations, they are yours. "I AM" = determining your destiny.... how are you programming your Super Computer?! If you wanna change your habit, but your identity IS that- CHANGE your environment. You have to fall in love with yourself. Self love. Believing you're not enough-lack of self love- we are only happy when we are curious to know and love yourself-then the courage to be yourself. Dedicate time to YOU!
