Proverbs 19:21 NIV
21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Delight yourself in the Lord and don't lean on your own understanding. This verse goes hand in hand with Proverbs 3:5-6. Both these verses talk about trusting in the Lord's plans as His plans are the ones that prevail in the end. You may have plans in store for yourself, but sometimes God will make you look the other way and say that this plan isn't for you. Trust in the Lord's timing and His plans, so you can find inner peace. An inner peace that no man can understand, until you fully submit yourself to God. Amen.
