Your correct, RIPTA public bus transportation leaves much to be desired. They don't always show up , leaving riders stranded with no way to get home.

I might be moving there from Hollywood, FL. Quite the change for me. I have a job opportunity that’s lucrative there but worried about the quality of life. Seems to me like there are crabby people there. I hope to infuse some much needed young professional with a masters degree kind of contribution to the area. I’m Hispanic and have a 4 year old son from a middle class background.

Rhode Island sucks! There’s nothing good about it. Providence is the epicenter of crime and that’s just the beginning. There’s nothing there. Incomparable to Boston or New York. Have a family? Forget it. Nothing to do here. There’s a zoo outside crime infested Elwood Avenue. Hot day and want to go to the beach? Traffic, fees, and crowds. Stay clear away unless you’re solely coming here for one of the colleges and even that isn’t good enough to want to stay here. Crime. Political inside favors happening. Go to Connecticut, New Hampshire, or Maine. One pro is that it’s so small of a state that you can easily drive right by it.
